No air conditioning which made the rooms very cold especially in this winter. Health risk in this cold weather.
No heater in room 105 we had to given the heat from the reception which did not even warm the lounge.
No tea bags, coffee or sugar in room 105.
Bench was very uncomfortable & the two dining chairs.
No dishwasher liquid.

Pros:

The interior décor was beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the location was perfect, convenient and close to everything I needed.

Cons:

The bathroom had a strong unpleasant smell coming from the drains whenever water was used. The odor would spread into the room, making the stay uncomfortable. Unfortunately, there was no air freshener provided, so I had to use my own perfume to help mask the smell. The property was smaller than it appeared in the photos advertised on Booking.com, which created expectations that did not fully match the actual space.

The fact that when our staff member arrived, she had to pay a R1000 deposit which is unheard of, as we already paid for the room via bookings dot com and nowhere does it state that we had to pay a deposit. Where must staff get a R1000 from for a deposit?

Modern apartment and secure parking

Modern decor.
Well-equipped, open-plan kitchen & living area.
Solid Wi-Fi.
Friendly reception staff.
Secure parking & access control.

Short walk into the centre of Seapoint and the beachfront.

Cons:

The windowless bathroom steams up very quickly due to the extractor fan not working.
The walk-in rain shower also creates a water overflow onto the floor section in front of the shower.
When we first arrived in the room, the sofa & cushions were extremely wet after seemingly having been cleaned by housekeeping - the sofa was thus not useable during our entire stay.
The apartment was also extremely cold due to the weather conditions in Cape Town at the time, but one portable 3-bar heater was thankfully provided for in the room.
