Lovely short and surprise

Emplacement et vue extraordinaire. Gentillesse du personnel. Le restaurant propose de bons plats simples avec de bons produits frais. Expérience.à tenter sans hésitation.

Go for a view and lunch, but stay someplace else
Pros:

Stunning view, very kind ladies at the breakfast & dinner.

Cons:

Mix-up with our reservation, strong smell in our room at arrival (high humidity or mold, had to keep our room door open the whole time), bad driver recommended by the hotel (he didn't show up on time several times and didn't seem to care), bad recommendation for a hike (it finished up raining, very slippery and dangerous), way too expensive for what you get.

Magnifique séjour
Pros:

- Le personnel de l'accueil.
- Le personnel du restaurant.
- L'emplacement qui permet d 'avoir une vue à couper le souffle
- Le sentiment d'intimité.

Cons:

- La douche n'est pas correctement installée ce qui fait que l'eau déborde.
- La carte du restaurant est très limitée et les prix sont très chers comparé a ce qu'on peut trouver dans les petites villes à côté.
Il manquait des plats typiques du Cap-Vert.
- Le chef de cuisine qui fume sur la terrasse pendant que les clients mangent. ( Pas très professionnel de sa part).
-Des efforts doivent être faits en cuisine ( voir photo)

Incredible location perched on the top of the mountain.
Restaurant food was very good and not expensive, it could be far worse for such a captive market.
Staff super friendly
Will help organise everything in terms lifts and transfers

Cons:

Very difficult road to get to. Personally would let the hotel organise the transfer instead of driving it myself.

Could do with a kettle and coffee in the rooms with the restaurant being open only for set hours.

Excellent views, excellent food, and animals giving you attention is all one needs.
Pros:

Fantastic views, fantastic scenery, exceptional hosting form the owner Martini and the whole staff. They are kind helpful and you can have an excellent socialising if you fancy in the evening. The fact they have a dog and two cats on the property to offer their positive attitude is even better.

An absolute hidden gem
Pros:

An absolute gem. I ended up extending my stay by four nights because I just didn’t want to leave. The views are breathtaking, and there are amazing hikes right from the hotel. It’s incredibly peaceful and quiet—perfect for a proper escape.

There aren’t any shops, restaurants, or bars within walking distance, but honestly, the hotel’s restaurant, bar, and pool had everything I needed. The staff were wonderful—attentive, warm, and always helpful.

I would go back in a heartbeat.
