250 per night for this stay was crazy for condition of room
Pros:

The people were incredibly friendly and they put in a lot of effort to make people feel welcome

Cons:

Pool area was extremely hot. Bathroom in room was very uncomfortable and small. Room needs at least one more mirror.

I’ll go back, worth the stay.
Pros:

Clean, friendly,convenient.

Cons:

Not a lot of people staying there but they were all in same area of hotel which made for a less peaceful stay.

We drove from IA to bury my dad next to my mom. My parents grew up in Morris.
Pros:

The beds are super comfy, and my kids absolutely LOVE the poolside rooms with the patio doors right out to the pool! Hotels just don't do that anymore. And I like the spacious rooms!

Cons:

My only complaint is that the ice machine was empty the whole time we were there, and I had to go to the bar to get ice.

Lovely rooms
Pros:

The rooms were very comfortable and beds were cozy. The pool was pretty warm which was lovely.

Cons:

The game room was extremely disappointing. Nothing like the pictures on the website.

And it's a little thing but I've never been to a continental breakfast that didn't have bagels.

Would not stay here again
Cons:

Room was very outdated and not very clean, carpet stained and burns and smelled bad. Had to open window to try and air out and the window jambs were absolutely disgustingly dirty. Found hairs & unknown piece of something in bed sheets.

Pros:

Breakfast was great. We didn't partake in the omelet bar, but it was available. The other hot offerings were delicious and quick. Staff were pleasant and we got a good night's sleep.

I understand it’s under renovation but some rooms are not in the best shape. Clean but needs work. Staff is normally wonderful to work with
