Pros:

A good location in old town.

Cons:

No reception you had to book yourself in. Room didn't provide coffee/tea as advised as provided no cups only plastic beakers with ingrained dirt.

Basic but ok. Seems like a fairly new set up still finding its feet
Pros:

It’s a 5 min walk from the Ipoh strain station but doesn’t come up on Apple Maps (but it’s down the road across from the train station with the mosque 🕌 on the right hand side as you walk towards it).
It’s pretty much in the centre of the town.

Cons:

The automated check in system is bad and slow. Our room wasn’t meant to be ready at 2pm - couldn’t check in until 2:45pm!
Had to pay 6 MYR (£1.12) tax when we checked in before we could get our room key.
It’s a very budget hotel - don’t expect 5* but they did give us 2 bottles of water in the room and towels. Beds not overly uncomfortable but the prayers from the mosque across the road are VERY loud and start VERY EARLY (6am) and run throughout the day until fairly late at night - if you’re a light sleeper or want lay-ins, look for somewhere further afield.

Decent value for money but definitely needs some updates in the rooms :/
Pros:

-Location was decent
-Water station downstairs

Cons:

-No fridge in our room
-Weird smell outside the room
-Housekeepers weren’t friendly
-The toilet was soaking wet when we arrived (not cleaned well)
-Stains all over the beds
-Very loud during the daytime and nighttime due to being close to the clock tower
-Roach in our room at one point

Well equiped, nice and clean room with attached bathroom
Pros:

The room was clean and there was a wather boiler in the rom. We had what we needed. Filtered drinking wather on the reseption. The location is wery near the train stadion and old town.

Cons:

The Mosk was next door and the noise was loud through the day and at early morning every day. You have to be a good sleeper to sleep through that.
It would have been nice with a small fridge, but that is just since we like to have breakfast in the room.

CHECK IN -

- the helper girl is not really helpful
Cos of self-check in hotel
- many times tried to do the self check in , scan my iç but it’s not through
- ⁠my last time kot having self check in “hotel”
- ⁠too sad to tell is about the bath gel (the bath gel is not refill and we sette for not having soap
-the water pressure is so slow

Will not come again to this hotel
Pros:

Place nearby town.

Cons:

I came from far away. When I check-up time is 5.20pm the room is not yet ready, ask me to wait 20 minutes. I also need to climb up 3 floors, not lift. It's really burden me with my big luggage. Local channel TV not functional. Toilet rubbish bin too near toilet paper. Room light not properly. They use foreigners workers to attend customs and not proper wearing. I'll not book this hotel anymore again.

I would not come back to that location....
Pros:

Not far to walk to centre
King size bed,

Cons:

Mosque next door, no need to have a alarm clock.
Loud racing through the streets at night .
Room was called a suite, it didn't even come close to that term.
Parking is not free and is not secure
