Jero is the sweetest host you can have. And the villa was sublime. The sound of the was relaxing. A private paradise. Good place to rest and enjoy nature.

Una experiencia poco recomendable.
Pros:

La cama era cómoda y la habitación tenía decoración bonita.

Cons:

Las fotos no reflejan el estado actual del alojamiento, había sensación de dejadez.
La ubicación era muy remota, el camino poco accesible y la cena fue de lo peor que hemos comido. Trajeron una pizza congelada y un sándwich muy malo.
Por otro lado, nos comentó que nos dejaría una moto y no supimos el coste hasta el check-out. Por último, el desayuno tenía poca variedad.

Excellent endroit authentique au calme.
Pros:

Hôtel en pleine nature. Salle de bain en extérieur. Parfait pour ceux qui recherchent l’authenticité de Bali par son emplacement. Personnel très attentionné, très gentil. La gérante est à nos petits soins, et nous a donnés un contact pour faire de l’ATV et du rafting : on recommande !
On recommande également les soins de massage et réflexologie proposés par l’établissement : excellents !

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt! Die Anlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt, die Häuschen sind gemütlich und bieten alles, was man braucht. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die unglaublich nette und hilfsbereite Inhaberin, die rund um die Uhr erreichbar ist und sich um alles kümmert und organisiert, was man benötigt.

Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker – mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den Fluss konnten wir entspannt in den Tag starten.

Das einzige kleine Manko: Die Beleuchtung draußen ist nachts etwas zu hell. Ansonsten absolut empfehlenswert – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

An exceptional stay in a magical place
Pros:

My stay at The River Island Sidemen has been absolutely incredible. The location is exceptional, set on a beautiful private island surrounded by lush nature. The garden is incredibly charming, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained.
Most importantly, the owner, Jero, is an exceptional host and a genuinely lovely person. She truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I can’t wait to come back soon!

Would stay here again and again
Pros:

This is by far one of the most unique & stunning properties I've stayed at. The cottages have a view of the river that immediately makes you feel like you've entered nature's oasis. The outdoor patio even has a lounge area and tub, and fire pit, where you can enjoy the river views. It's prettier in person than photos. It's a short 10+ min drive from sidemen center. It does have an outdoor bathroom, so keep that in mind. But there was bug spray stocked and i enjoyed it nonetheless. The owner and her family are always nearby, and they have an on premises restaurant where you can order to deliver to room, which is nice because there are no GRABs around.

Cons:

The neighborhood has no grab, but the owner can give you the number of a private taxi.

Absolutely incredible stay — by far one of our best experiences in Indonesia!
Everything was perfect: the beautiful location, the lovely room, the amazing swimming pool and the peaceful setting right next to the river. It truly felt like a dream, surrounded by nature and tranquility. 🌿The location is also perfect for exploring Sidemen, with all the main activities and beautiful spots nearby, while still feeling like a peaceful hidden paradise.
And the staff were absolutely wonderful! Everyone was so kind, welcoming and attentive. A special mention to our host, whose incredible hospitality made us feel like we were staying with family rather than at a hotel. ❤️
This place is a true haven of peace, and we honestly didn’t want to leave. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful and authentic stay in Sidemen. We would happily come back anytime!

Quiet and peaceful place for relax
Pros:

The owner was so helpful and was always available for anything, even with external problems.
The bathtub was insane, like a dream, in the middle of nowhere with all the sky for you.

Cons:

The sheets smelled a bit musty but apart from that, everything was fine.

Un oasis de belleza y comodidad

The River Island es un hotel tan bonito que dan ganas de no salir de él. Tanto las habitaciones como los espacios externos son cómodos y bonitos y la atención del personal es excepcional. Lo recomendaré a cualquier persona que vaya a visitar Sidemen. Las vistas al río y a la montaña son impresionantes y la gerente es una de las personas más agradables que hemos conocido en nuestro tiempo en Indonesia.

Fantastisch
Pros:

prachtige plek en een fantastische familie die veel zorg heeft voor je als gast, wat deze accommodatie een topper maakt. Onze ferry vertrok ineens een halve dag eerder, ze hebben uitstekend geholpen om ervoor te zorgen dat wij onze Ferry op tijd konden halen. Sidemen is nog een prachtig stukje authentiek Bali, wij hebben ervan genoten.

Bosko!!! Właścicielka jest cudowną kobietą, wszystko załatwia ogarnia. Zamówienia jedzonka, drewno na ognisko, naprawa koła w aucie przez męża. Wszystko. Do tego pełne zaufanie korzystania z restauracyjnego barku. Do tego obiekt / teren jest dość duży, pięknie urządzony, zadbany, domki są bardzo wygodne i nie są pościskane. Wszystko położone nad dwoma rzekami na które jest widok z domków i basenu. REWELACJA !

Cons:

Wszystko mi się podobało. Za krótki pobyt.

Splendide. Si vous aimez le calme, je recommande.
Pros:

Le bungalow magnifique. La salle de bain offre une expérience unique! Un vrai paradis 🥰
Literie très confortable. Cadre superbe! Restaurant/ piscine. Très calme et reposant Personnel très gentil.

Cons:

Le petit plus aurait été de changer les serviettes de bain une fois et éventuellement la literie sur 4 nuits

L’endroit idéal pour débuter votre séjour à Bali
Pros:

Tout était parfait!
L’environnement est très nature et calme.
Les chambres sont spacieuses, propre et la salle de bain extérieur magnifique.
Le personnel est adorable, aux petits soins et les massages sur la terrasse de la chambre à ne pas manquer!
Un petit clin d’œil à la patronne Viona qui est une très belle personne 😉🙏
