I had a deeply disappointing and frustrating stay at this APA Hotel, which resulted in a painful physical injury and completely unprofessional treatment by the management.
The design of the bathroom features a sharp, raised metallic step that is a severe safety hazard. While entering the bathroom, I caught my foot on this metallic edge, resulting in a severe toenail injury.
When I brought this to the attention of the hotel staff and management, their response was completely unacceptable. Instead of taking responsibility for a clear safety defect in their room design, their response was that all rooms had the same design and there was no defect in my room. The design was so-called proved to be safe for use and there had not been any instances to date. They refused to acknowledge the faulty inherent design and to provide monetary compensation for me as a victim of this problematic design.
A hotel should, at the very least, provide a safe environment for its guests. The combination of dangerous room infrastructure and management’s total refusal to take accountability makes it impossible for me to recommend this place. Avoid this hotel if you value safety and basic customer care.
