Very nice hotel. This was my second stay and plan on staying again in the future.
Pros:

Very convenient location to the beach without the high cost of being on the beach.

Cons:

For some reason, the room smelled like dill pickles when we walked in. Not sure where the smell came from specifically in the room. We couldn’t find it. The smell did not dissipate, but we did reach out to management and they brought us Lysol, which got rid of the smell.

Would like to see a ice machine on site next visit.

Good stay for the kite festival
Pros:

The room was in a good location and very clean. Absolutely loved the small enclosed and safe dog park next to the motel. It was also very clean. The whole place was cute.

Cons:

There is a discrepancy in what we were sent by Booking.com for the pet fee and what they actually charge. The difference was $10 more but they refunded the difference. The actual pet fee is $45. If you have a large vehicle, we have a 2500, the parking is not adequate for that size vehicle. Luckily we could park on the street. Even our family in a mini van barely had enough room to squeeze out because the spaces are so close.

Pros:

The location is phenomenal. Right across by Kure Beach pier. Room was so much more than we expected and super nice. Definitely plan to stay again!

I would visit again only if the shower floor had been corrected.
Pros:

Location was great, very dog friendly, very responsive to needs.

Cons:

They shower floor is very slippery, one of our group had a pretty bad fall. I sent pictures of the injury along with a suggestion to add traction stickers to the floor and didn't get any response.

Mostly comfortable and feeling safe.
Pros:

The room was like a refurbished older hotel room. It's quant and well decorated. It's clean to my liking. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on.

Cons:

The parking space was a squeeze. The pool is closed at 9. It takes a bit to get into the room. Push the home button before your code. One second timing between each digit.

Delightful.
Pros:

No breakfast.

Cons:

The only thing that could have been better was there was no electrical socket in the kitchenette area so we had to plug the coffee maker in by the couch. It was a little awkward, but not a big deal at all.

Our stay was pleasant
Pros:

It was clean, bed was comfortable. The complementary coffee was nice,, the messages where prompt and friendly.

Cons:

The new way of contact less business isn't our thing, although I got frequent friendly messages, we more old school 🙂 nothing better then a welcoming smile from a person. The Room and bathroom was a bit small for a family ..lol glad we left the pets at home. With a 2 pet
minimum we will not be able to use this location if we will travel with ours as we have 3 elderly dogs.
