Being filmed in reception by some of the owners family without permission. Yes I am tall and white but I am not an animal. I found it rude and intrusive.
Location is good as it's only a 10 minute walk from the train station, so it works well for a short overnight stay. Shower was decent and hot. Towels smelled fresh. Staff was courteous. Little balcony had a nice unobstructed view of the city. Elevator and wifi were working.
The place is quite run down and dilapidated, sheets and towels are old and worn, the bed isn't very comfortable and it wasn't very clean.
Conveniently located for the railway station. The hotel has seen better days and could be a bit cleaner, but for that price you can't complain. The room was large, the beds were very hard, but comfy, and the duvet was cozy. For one night absolutely fine.
The aircon heating didn't work and it was cold.
Location
Cockroach, bathroom sink was not connected to outside drain ( it drained on the floor), towels were stained, beds were very hard and my sheet had a cigarette burn hole and floor was sticky. We stayed one night instead of 2.
Nice hotel with an elevator, clean room, clean sheets and a balcony with a great view. Good price and restaurants nearby. Rented a scooter from them for the day. .
Windows didn't close all the way so some mosquitos were able to get inside and the building is a bit old.
Budget accommodation.
Property charged a greater amount than advertised and booked. However, it wasn’t a great deal more and was still cheaper than all alternatives. This was a major problem as the staff didn’t want to speak to me and kept passing me a phone to what I presume is the owner. His English was better but had to keep using Google translate with the staff member behind the desk that looked uninterested and unwilling to help. After this was eventually sorted, the stay was average.
the manager was nice
the front desk insisted on keeping our passports and refused to give them back until the manager came and gave them back, there was a creepy man in the lobby, the room was covered in ants and the mattresses were 2 inches thick. there was a window from the room to the hallway that opened from the hallway and there was no way to lock it from inside. we were supposed to stay for two nights but ended up leaving after one (we only stayed for the one night because there was no other hotels available on such short notice)
