Not quite worth the high spend
Pros:

Peaceful & tranquil in the daytime. The shop has some lovely bits and the pool area is nice to relax.

Cons:

Our room faced the restaurant, was noisy until late at night and we had to ask the staff to be quiet twice. Can’t open any curtains as you’re facing the bar area and the guests and staff constantly walk by your windows for the toilets which you could smell inside the room. On our first day there were not enough loungers by the pool and they had also run out of pool towels so it’s very expensive to not use the facilities. We spoke to the owners wife & the manager, both were lovely and understood our issues and offered a refund but then the owner changed his mind and only refunded half what was agreed and was not so friendly and ignored our challenge on this.
They have the basis of an incredible Bali-esque experience here but the finishing touches were not worth the high prices.

PARFAIT!!! Je reviendrai
Pros:

Absolument tout! Je n'ai absolument aucune critique envers cet hôtel! Le personnel est adorable, j'ai rencontré le patron qui est très gentil et agréable également. La chambre est grande et surtout très propre. Le restaurant est pour moi l'un des meilleurs. Je suis tombé malade et on m'a ramené des banances et du pain avec du thé dans la chambre (adorable!!). La situation géographique est top! La piscine est grande et on s'y sent vraiment comme dans un havre de paix. J'ai séjournée 11 jours dans cet hôtel et j'y retournerai sans hésiter la prochaine fois que je viens au Sri Lanka!

Cons:

Je n'ai rien à dire, tout était parfait et je me suis sentie comme à la maison.

Alles hammer. Das beste Frühstück unserer gesamten Sri Lanka Reise!
Das Zimmer waren stilvoll und der Pool perfekt für die heißen Mittagsstunden.

Cons:

Wir haben uns mehr Ablageflächen im Zimmer für unsere Sachen gewünscht und Sonnenschirme für die Liegen.

Pros:

Schöne Anlage, gutes Restaurant und ein absolut hammermässiges Frühstück!

Cons:

Unser Zimmer hat sehr stark gerochen - der Geruch wurde beim Checkin gut überdeckt aber sobald die Türen einige Minuten zu waren roch der ganze Raum. Finde ich persönlich unangenehm und für den Preis nicht ganz passend.

Slow down and travel peacefully in Ahangama

Stilvolle und ruhige Unterkunft
Pros:

The Kip eine sehr stilvolle Unterkunft. Wir konnten unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genießen. Das Bad in unseren Studio war ein Außenbad und es war cool so im Freien die Geräusche der Tiere wahrzunehmen.

Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Am Pool konnte man den Tag über entspannen und Getränke aus dem Café bestellen. Das Essen im The Kip war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Es gibt kleine Portionen die man miteinander teilen kann.

Cons:

Die Portionen sind im Tapas-Stil und dementsprechend relativ klein. Das sollte man bei seinem Hungergefühl berücksichtigen.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit hohem Komfort
Pros:

Tolle ästhetische Unterkunft, sehr sauber mit schönem Pool. Das Personal war auch sehr bemüht und hat bei Fragen unterstützt.

Cons:

Ich fand es etwas störend, dass andauernd Café Gäste in das Hotel gelaufen kamen, zum Beispiel wenn man am Pool lag. Aber das lässt sich wahrscheinlich kaum vermeiden.

Das Personal könnte beim Frühstück organisierter sein!
