Great functional place, superb location if transiting through Oban

The location was the best part

Cons:

Our room was right next to the main entrance exit door we heard everyone coming and going which made it very hard to sleep. The rooms are not well sound proofed so we heard everyone talking and also the restaurant upstairs was moving stuff around it woke us up at 6am. It’s a real shame because the idea and concept of this place has an opportunity to be great and unfortunately the lack of sound proofing means terrible night sleep which is why we have rated our stay so poorly. If you are planning on staying - take some ear muffs with you and play some white noise to block out all the noise. There should maybe be some signs up near the entrance asking guests who arrive after 10pm to be quiet because people arriving at 1-2am were not respectful of others in the building.

Exactly as described, it’s right next to the ferry so it’s a perfect overnight stay before heading to an island.
Pros:

Nearly as affordable as a hostel but private room and bathroom.

Cons:

There’s not a lamp next to the bed, overhead lights only (there was one on the desk).

Practical, tidy and clean accommodation
Pros:

- Clear and timely communication about check-in
- Very clean room
- Small but practical room (small table, kettle, TV, space under bed)
- Good sized bathroom with hot shower
- Very comfortable bed with warm duvet
- Very solid bunk bed, you don’t feel the movement of the other person in the top bunk bed
- Close to ferry

Brilliant
Pros:

Loved the ship theme and hoe central it was to not only the main town but right on the pier so easy access to the ferries to the Islands l didnt need to travel further to get to the ferry. The rooms were very clean and warm and comfortable l would recommend the pier rooms and l certainly will be back when travelling home to Barra on the ferry

Very nice stay
Pros:

The cabin style decor was fitting with the location. It was very clean.

Cons:

The noise of the fan/air conditioning system. Even when off, it made a noise. However, it wasn't awful but one night having that noise was enough.

Well presented room - no windows which didn’t bother me but might others Excellent shower and comfortable bunk bed

Cons:

Wee bit of an issue getting in to property but staff were responsive on phone and quickly sorted out

There was a tv but no remote - was too tired to watch so not a big issue
