Well run and well appointed place in an excellent location.
Pros:

Ina House Gion is a well appointed little place in an absolutely wonderful location. The rooms are not large but are adequate and are well appointed while also offering additional in room services - a stove, microwave, crockery and washing machine - all of which could make your travelling much easier if required. More like a small apartment than a hotel, It's not luxurious but is very practical and comfortable. We did have a slight issue but the hosts were extremely proactive and apologetic and sorted the issue out within minutes.

Cons:

The location being where it is does mean there can be a little bit of revelry noise outside in the middle of the night. Having said that, it didn't go on for long nor interfere with our sleeping.

Will be staying again on our next trip.
Pros:

Great location with lots of restaurants close by. The room is spacious and loves having a washing machine in the room as well. The room also has a kitchenette with appliances.

Comfortable stay in Gion
Pros:

Comfortable self catering accommodation in the heart of Gion on a quiet street. High pressure shower, comfy beds and everything you could possibly need for a nice stay.
Luggage storage available on the ground floor.
Having a washing machine was also super convenient, however bear in mind a wash+dry can take over 3 hours.

Cons:

We liked everything!

Ottima posizione e camera molto spaziosa!
Pros:

La struttura è situata in una zona molto comoda per visitare Kyoto e per spostarsi con i mezzi. La camera è davvero molto spaziosa e dotata di lava-asciuga, una piccola cucina e terrazzino.

Cons:

La stanza è un po’ fredda e umida, abbiamo dovuto accendere la pompa di aria calda parecchie volte. Il frigorifero nonostante l’abbiamo quasi spento ha congelato tutto quello che abbiamo messo dentro!

Absolutely fabulous location
Pros:

Although no staff are on sight, they are extremely quick to respond to any questions via chat and were extremely accommodating letting us know our room was available early. The location of the property is fantastic for visiting temples and old Gion.

Cons:

Would love option for breakfast- maybe they could negotiate with a hotel in the close vicinity as an option for example, next door.

Pros:

A good place to consider in Gion.
Pros:

Having a state of the art washer/dryer in our own room in addition to the mini kitchen is the best thing for our stay. We also appreciate the facility where we can leave our luggages before and/or after checking out.

Cons:

The lack of a ramp in the main entrance makes it very difficult for heavy luggages. The room and beds are quite small, and the air conditioner is not powerful enough to warm the room.
