Pros:

Het vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam personeel. Het ontbijt behalve de koffie die bij te betalen was. De rust en stilte zoals het in een klooster past.

Cons:

Een overvloed aan Kristelijke afbeeldingen en kruisbeelden heeft me enorm gestoord. Geen zwembad en moeten bijbetalen voor een degelijke koffie bij het ontbijt. Er is ook geen vrije ingang, je moet altijd aanbellen om erin te geraken. Ik had het gevoel in een slotklooster te zijn aanbeland.

Pros:

Pros:

The building is nice and has a great view from the terrace. Breakfast was amazing and staff was friendly.

Cons:

There is a bit too much Christian decoration for our taste (a lot of psalms, jesus figures etc. everywhere), which may not feel comfortable for people who are not religious and/or have had bad experiences with religion. for example due to their queerness.

Blue Veil Villa is the best villa/hotel in Kigali. Hands down. Forget Milles Collines, forget the Marriott. I’ve visited both and Blue Veil wins across the board. THIS STAFF IS WORLD CLASS. From the kindness, attentiveness of the whole staff and their incredible anticipation of your needs, the accommodations, the location, the views(!!), the safety, THE FOOD(!!!), the value for your money!! Look no further. You won’t regret it. Whether you’re alone or with a group, this is the place to book for your stay in Kigali as you visit Rwanda.

Cons:

There is one thing I didn’t like about the property. I hated that the shower pressure was so amazing so much so that at peak relaxation in the evening after a good shower, combined with how amazing and comfortable the beds were, I’d miss my alarm a few times. But who is really to blame here?
