Mały kameralny hotel przy samej plaży, własne domki (beach cabin) na plaży, która była niemal dla nas na wyłączność. Właściciel bardzo miły i pomocny, obsługa cały czas na miejscu, czujna (3-4 bech boys-ów do obsługi 10 osób w hotelu). Śniadania smaczne. Dodatkową niespodzianką był fakt, iż jednego wieczoru przy naszym tarasie żółwica postanowiła złożyć swoje jaja, okazało się, że jest to częsty widok, a właściciel przekłada jaja w bezpieczniejsze miejsce na swojej posesji, chroniąc je od psów czy waranów (osobiście odganiałem jednego, który zaczynał kopać gniazdo). Zwieńczeniem przygody było wypuszczanie młodych żółwi do morza. Zaznaczę, iż nie było to komercyjne przedsięwzięcie (nic za to nie płaciliśmy), mieliśmy po prostu szczęście, właściciel nie robi tego dla zarobku. Pokoje może nie są rewelacyjne ale cała reszta to wynagradza. Ciężko o lepszy stosunek jakości do ceny
An exceptional accommodation managed by Chathu and Ishan, a lovely family who show a great respect and kindness to all of their guests. The rooms are incredible nice, beautifully decorated and the view and direct access to the beach bring added values to this accommodation. The breakfasts and lunches were delicious; we had an authentic Sri Lankan experience. For sure, we would like to come back and have a longer stay at Sea crest beach villa to enjoy more the awesome beach and the energy of this place and hosts.

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wer Ruhe etwas abseits vom Trubel bekannterer Strände sucht ist hier richtig. Vom Zimmer aus hatten wir einen direkten Zugang an den kleinen, einsamen aber schönen Strand.
I enjoyed my stay at Sea Crest Beach Villa a lot. The location ist incredible, you have the beach just in front of your window - and that's what I wanted. I was there in off season so the tide was quite high and the sea was ruff, there is not so much of a beach to walk on in front of the villa during that time - but to me, that didn't matter. I enjoyed so much being surrounded by the sound of waves the whole time. And I could rent a scooter for a very good rate and drive to other beaches near by. And during season, you have a beautiful beach just in front of your doorstep...
Chathu and Ishan were incredibly friendly hosts and I felt very welcome and well taken care of the whole time. They were so warm and loving, it was just amazing.
The food was delicious and plenty! it was also possible to have dinner, which was super delicious, so beautiful to sit right at the beach and it was also for a very good price.
I would recommend going there and staying for a couple of days, renting a scooter to explore the area (Galle ist also just a short and beautiful drive from there) and just enjoying the incredible location and the loving care.
When we arrived at the hotel we were taken aback by the beaches beauty, however this didn't last long.
The owner told us the hotel would get quite busy as they had the Perahera festival coming the next day - this didnt seem like an issue. This was not the full truth. For the next 3 days and 2 nights, a group of around 30 Sri Lankan men partied hard and trashed the hotel, as well as intimidated and disrespected us. It was hard for us to walk in and out as they spread out all around the doorways and stood, unmoving, in the way of entrances. Later, they became aggressive and one of them purposefully, unprovoked, launched himself as hard as he could into my partner to assault him, when we were trying to leave for dinner. They spread throughout the whole hotel, on every level and corner, playing loud music and shouting until 2.30am. Then at 3am they turned the music back on and kept partying. They left rubbish everywhere throughout the hotel and all over the beach, some of which we picked up so it wouldn't harm the animals. We told the owners about the behaviour but they just shrugged it off saying 'I can't control them'. They told us the men would leave at 9pm the second night and wouldnt come back. They had insisted on payment upfront. The second night we were so tired and the men had situated themselves right at both the doors of our room yelling, drinking, and doing drugs. We kept giving the owner updates and she kept ignoring us. At 12.30am we went out to tell the men to move. It ended up in a big argument and they told us they had paid to rent the entire hotel and they weren't aware there would be other guests. Things got very heated and nearly became physical. Eventually they agreed to move from our door. The owner then came to settle things down more (still didn't reply to us though). The men then went to the festival and came back loud and drunk at around 6am making more noise and mess. Again we told the owners what was happening but they did nothing.
The family suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. You can hear the ocean from the room, which has a terrace that opens directly onto the beach.
The lady who worked there was lovely and very helpful with everything we needed.
Breakfast was generous, with a good variety of options.
We only needed a place to stay for one night, and this guest house provided a clean room with basic amenities at good value.

The homestay was directly on the beach. Our room was very spacious, clean and we could see the ocean from our room.
The breakfast was delicious with typical Sri Lankan specialties. We wanted to stay one night but prolonged it to a second night, we would even stayed longer but we had to get going.

We loved Chathu, the lady who owns the house with her husband! She is authentic, warm and caring and she and her husband made our stay wonderful (although they were busy constructing a new (big!) apartment in the building, which is nearly finished). Breakfast right in front of the room with our feet in the sand, marvelous! This is a quiet location with a beautiful broad sandy strip before you enter the (warm) sea water.
With a tuktuk you can go easily to Hikkaduwa to grab a cappuccino or lunch and see the, at some parts, crowded beaches and the people who surf on the waves. Lovely place also!

Best place to stay on the west coast. Direcrky at the beach. Clean rooms, good shower, great wifi and excellent service. Highly recommended! Nice restaurant, I especially liked the grilled fish with salad. Free beach towels and bottled water.

The villa is right on the beach, the rooms are clean, you can enjoy excellent Sri Lankan cuisine, the breakfast is plentiful and very good. The owners and the entire team are extremely friendly and accommodating and are always on hand to help and advise. The warmth is unbeatable. If you want to spend a quiet holiday on a dream beach, this is the place for you.
Fantastic beach side stay with fabulous hosts and a top class chef. Food was amazing. Great rooms with huge comfortable beds. We had the sea view which was spectacular

Location. The most tranquil, white sand, beautiful beach and the accommodation is right at the beach or on the beach. The beach is super clean and there are no people at all. Almost your private beach.
Staff and hosts are absolutely amazing, almost feels ‘homely’. Food is great too.
