Great location and staff, but the room didn’t quite match the price or expectations.
Pros:

The location is ideal and perfect for exploring Liverpool. The bar was lovely with a great atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

Cons:

For an upmarket hotel, the room felt quite basic and lacked a premium feel. The pillows were very soft and uncomfortable. There was a heating issue, so the room and water were quite cool. We also noticed mould on the bathroom ceiling and there weren’t enough coffee sachets provided. There was a significant police presence outside during the evening which, although it was a Friday night, did affect the overall atmosphere.

Cons:

One room had mould on ceiling , breakfast did not have much left at 9-45 and we were told as we all arrived they shut prompt at 10 , and we had pre paid for our breakfast !!
We booked for dinner only one option Roast 3 of our party do not like roast so just had a starter after a day of travelling and sons of the menu they had run out off at 7 o clock , another of the rooms bathroom could do with a paint touch up and bath mat was dirty and mouldy , I left for cleaner to see but it was rolled up and out back in bathroom .

Excellent location, wonderful friendly staff.
Pros:

It was my son's birthday - his 10th - and he's a big Beatles fan. Not only did we get to check in early, the staff left a hand written note in our room wishing him a happy birthday, and some chocolates. So kind and made his day! They also gave us a room which didn't face the busy main street so that he'd be able to get some sleep, which again was so kind.

Pros:

I liked the friendly staff on the second day, they made it feel special. Staff on the first day a little rude as they didn't really give us a warm welcome unfortunately, but after that they were lovely.

Amazing hotel, amazing city and can’t wait to go back.
Pros:

Perfection. Just where we needed to be. The staff was so helpful and friendly, amazing people!
The restaurant was a great ambience with delicious food.
Would definitely recommend, 5 stars!

Cons:

There was an issue with our room but the staff told us straight away and offered a solution which was perfect.

Pros:

Great location especially for a Beatle fan. We are locals and just fancied a change

Cons:

In the bathroom was left over mould. You could see where it had stained the ceiling and the tiles. Also issues with air con which was affecting every room

Pros:

Disappointed, we asked for the room to be refreshed all that was done was clean towels. Beds were made and when we complained they told us that someone would speak to us about it. Complained again this morning on our check out to be told someone would contact us. Once again nothing.
