The Lodge is located just 50 yards from the main hotel reception with its own private parking and can be accessed via the hotel gardens on foot or via the road running alongside the hotel by car. The only difference between the lodge and the hotel is that guests come across to the hotel for meals.

Cons:

1 or 2 chairs in the bedroom would have been nice.
Also although we’re only 5’7” it’s difficult to stand up in the shower with hitting the shower with your head.

I was in an annex which is ok unless it rains, then going to dinner or the bar becomes less convenient because you have to get properly dressed for the weather. Not a major issue, but a bit frustrating

A lovely stay.
Pros:

Great location lovely room with fantastic views. Really nice welcome from the lady on reception on our arrival.

Pleasant hotel in a stunning location with charming staff.
Pros:

Excellent views, lovely staff, very clean room, with comfortable bed and a great bath. Breakfast was really good as well. Lots of space to sit in the lounge.

Cons:

It was a tiny bit cold in the room and common areas. Also, the room needed a long mirror, conditioner and body lotion!
