Hilton Garden Inn Surat City Centre

This is a lovely hotel close to the station which is a very busy area in an older part of town so it’s like an oasis.
The room was lovely. Soft sheets. Fluffy pillows and towels. Lovely washroom amenities. Safe in the room and UK sockets.
The staff however really need to communicate better with each other.
The first night I had an ongoing fire alarm issue in my room and had to call three times before it was sorted and even then I had to check.
The second night there was building work in the evening and again I had 3 separate people turn up and promise it would be resolved.
I checked out after two nights (even though I booked two because my plans changed) and the manager called me in the third day to ask when I was checking out. Sigh.
Other than the lack of communication between the staff I would say this is one of the nicer hotels in the city.

It was neat and clean staff was so cooperative for sure recommend to stay here for my next visit love to stay here again.

It's centrally located and was convenient for my travel needs

It is a new hotel situated very close to all local transport links including railway station.
All rhe staff are extremely polite and courteous in their manner and served us with a great respect.

Reception staff need a bit of training !! Especially AmanRaj who was not keen to listen to issues i wanted them to rectify after our checkout and said other guests are arriving so he needs to attend to them but when I looked back there was no-one behind me. Two issues such as bedside power plug sockets plate had come off and water was leaking from shower and reached under sink area and leading up to the toilet.
The hotel internal environment is very quiet despite its location near railway station and two bus terminals.
The breakfast spread was excellent and all the staff were extremely polite and courteous especially Uttam,Amit , Sneha and Riya. They served me my Surati special breakfast dishes , Thepla ,Paturi and Fafda on my last day despite those items not on menu.

The Hilton building and staff were excellent—very professional and welcoming. However, the surrounding neighbourhood wasn’t ideal due to its proximity to a busy bus terminal and railway station, which made the area feel a bit congested and noisy.
