Pros:

The best place ever to stay in hikkaduwa!
Great value for price and such a lovely beautiful family running it.
You get a secluded place with a room and balcony, kitchen and garden. It’s hidden away but so close to the beach.
Cute cats running around and lots of squirrels. Quite and lovely would recommend!!!

Nice accommodation
Pros:

Really nice and helpful owner. We could also rent a scooter with him. The bathroom was big and clean.

A hidden gem
Pros:

We stopped at Ami Place initially for 2 days but extended our stay to a whole week. This is a little hidden gem, close to the rail station, Main Street and beach 2 -4 min walking distance. It’s a traditional house with a minimalistic and very tasty decor. We could enjoy our privacy on the terrace listening to calming sounds of wildlife. You often will see squirrels playing in the trees, and crickets symphony in the evening. I couldn’t price enough the hospitality and genuine care from the owner and his lovely family. We really enjoyed our stay here !
