In einem Zimmer gab es kein warmes Wasser, es war recht kalt (wir waren im Winter da) und alles etwas "abgenutzt". Wir wahren nur 1 Nacht auf der Durchreise da, dafür war es in Ordnung.
I booked and when I call for directions no answer the whole nite and I had to travell back
The fact that money was deducted and when I called for check in no answer
Only the location
Rooms were smelly, the bathroom floor were dirty.
Cancelled as there was no place available
I always love the freedom of this place and how I can always stay up outside till late and there is a bar and braai area. I definitely loved my room.
They did not warn us that the pool was no longer in use . The water in our shower was dirty .
Nothing, it was horrible
Everything. False marketing, unsafe location, every thing was filthy, aircons not working it was 40 degrees. Staff was drunk and unhelpful, manager was on holiday.
We enjoyed the quite surrounds and working farm environment. It was close to our destinations,Addo National park was 13minutes away.
The shower walls were flaky with paint..The coffee table was falling apart. No washing soap for dishes, towels short and we were a family of three. The air conditioning did not work and we had to ask for fans. The wifi did not work and we had to always go up to the main reception to get any signal.Water appeared to be switched off at times as did not flow well from the shower.Lastly, false advertising as no pool present not according to the website.Only one fork in the cutlery drawer. We also struggled to open the door once locked from inside, faulty lock system.Very disappointed as this was one of thr best hotels in its haydays.
I loved the atmosphere, nice and quiet.
I was expecting to relax on the swimming pool as advertised on your photos only to find out that it is undermaintenance. Which was not specified clearly, which was disappointing.
did not have bfast after I saw the facilities
unfriendly staff
poor reception
whole place is a rundown concern
when we got there, there was a party going on, people sitting around in the reception and dining room . drunk people with plates of meat in front of them which they ate by hand.
unwelcome reception, receptionist close were dirty.
by far the most expensive booking for a booking for two people for our trip
Ive logged a complaint. We left the property on the 14th as there is no restaurant that's open, no bar, no pool, no entertainment, wrong unit. The place is under construction!

It appears to have had it’s glory days, but it is a comfortable and friendly base to have near Addo Elephant National Reserve. The people are really nice and go out of their way to help.
Nothing
Only one staffmember over the two days ? Running the whole hotel from front desk to kitchen! But cooked our steak perfectly!
Buildings very badly neclected! No TV or barfridge. No other holiday guests, only contractors working on rebuilding roads.
Room stuffy, dirty shower and no TV in the room
Everything
Location
Expectation VS reality
Premises very neglected
Doesn’t look at all as it looks on booking dit com
Rooms wasn’t ready
Rooms were smelling like damp
One towel per room but we were paying for two
Not even two cups per room
What a disaster. I would not even let my dead dog spend ONE night there. Dirty, sloppy, Unkept, Untidy, it was just totally not what the photo's said, maybe the photo's were taken 100 years ago!!!!!
EVERYTHING!!!
safety was good.
No cross ventilation in room
