Great Location just a lovely spot and takes you back in time. We had Dinner & Breakfast both great . The whole experience was very enjoyable. Great service in a very relaxed environment. Loved the 3 golden retrievers that just made the experience a very welcoming one.
Nothing comes to mind
Great location, lovely owners and comfy, big rooms
Dinner and breakfast were great.
Dinner was excellent! out shone anything else in town by a mile. Free umbrella at the door, tested it out in heavy rain and it work really well.
Perfect location in the heart of beautiful Walhalla. The stay included a delicious dinner and a lovely continental breakfast. Very comfortable room and extra areas to relax with a cuppa.
Very hard to fault, this property was exactly what I was after for this one night visit.
My partner and I had a lovely experience at the Star Hotel Walhalla. The location is remote, very beautiful - a genuine getaway from the madding crowd and the hosts are warm and extremely knowledgeable. Dinner and breakfast are included and they were both very enjoyable. Dinner was especially good - simple fare cooked to perfection - you can't go wrong. There's a lot to commend a stay at the Star Walhalla.
The main meal was included in the price. It wasn't great. The risotto was dry and clumped together. Everything else was great.
Delightful property in great location
It’s was unique, value for money, food was delish. Publicans were amazing, knowledgable, and so friendly. Along with Rupert and Tilly their resident golden retrievers. Didn’t get to meet the puppy.

We had a great stay for New year's eve, and really enjoyed the town and hotel.
We were warmly greeted by the owner who was very pleasant & showed us to our room & explained all the facilities.
The hotel is lovely & quaint. It’s a small museum kind of town with friendly people. Good for an overnight stopover on the way to Mallacoota.
On leaving the owner gave us information on where to see Kaolas in the wild, which we went to & did indeed come across a Kaolas, which I was very pleased about!
Very good. Dinner was even better, absolutely outstanding
Nothing
Very nice place, easy parking, nice food, helpful staff
Maybe augment the wine list, slightly
This was one of the highlights on our trip so far. The welcome and hospitality was exceptional. We loved reading/hearing about the history of Walhalla and the hotel. Our rooms were huge with a comfortable beds, and the communal tea and coffee making facilities were appreciated. We had booked dinner, bed and breakfast. Dinner was great and they kindly accommodated a last minute request for a veggie option which was very tasty.
It would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast but there were plentiful options for a continental breakfast. The rooms and bathrooms are a little dated.
a change to have dinner included in the price.
Leuk hotel, heel netjes, lekker eten, vriendelijke eigenaren, gaven ons nog tips voor leuke route mee.
Goed bevallen
