Bathroom very old and needs upgrades
Building is right across the street from the beach.
We reserved a “sea view” room several months in advance, but were not given a sea view room. It was stated in our “amenities” and we documented what was listed. Our room faced the street and roof. It was a “bait and switch” situation. After several calls and emails from us and booking.com the hotel refused to give us a “sea view” room because they gave it to someone else. They also curtly refused to adjust the rate that we paid. We traveled over from the US and this was our only stay on the beach for our whole trip so my kids and I were tremendously disappointed. If we would’ve known that we wouldn’t get the room and view we purchased, we would have went somewhere else!
Excellent stay in Bayview hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and we had the bonus of a sea view. Breakfast is very generous with freshly cooked food and lots of choice, Would highly recommend a stay here

Comfortable homely friendly hotel, location perfect to explore Kilkee with seaview from every window, Breakfast lovely especially French toast, all staff we met were very friendly.
Rooms weren't soundproof, could hear next doors telly clearly, but it wasn't a major problem as it's an old building

The bed was uncomfortable. The noise factor in house was very high, with doors banging from very early in the morning.
