Pros:

We drove around and ended up at a dead end, Landry hanging across the street. The neighborhood was not a tourist area, not safe. We never checked in, never stayed.

Cons:

There was no beach close, no restaurant, nothing to do. And we couldn’t find the place! Nothing looked like a hotel, no signs, just houses and laundry hanging around

Cheap but not cheerful.
Pros:

We were able to park securely inside the property. Being right on the edge of the lagoon and watching the fishermen was good and seeing the lights of the town across the water at night.

Cons:

The place needs care and maintenance. In the bathroom for example, the mosquito netting on the window was damaged and so there were lots of mosquitoes in the room. The lack of care gives a slightly depressing feel to the place.

Amazing value if you need a place to sleep or relax a little from a long trip.
Pros:

We were traveling through and this was just off the main road, right on the river in a quiet neighborhood.

Cons:

It was clean, functional with friendly staff and neighbours.
