Stylish, cozy hotel opposite theater
Pros:

The location of this hotel is perfect just opposite the Batna Theatre. It has a kind of the old charm with the balconies and bath tubes. They offer substantial breakfast with breads, cheese and boiled eggs which is included in the room rate.

Cons:

Fruits are inexpensive in this country so it shoul br also offered for breakfast, I think.

Clean and friendly institution but bring your map :)
Pros:

El Hayat is very clean, they offer soap and shampoo. Towels are big and fresh. You will find blanket in the cupboard, if you need. Friendly owner and young receptionist Mr Elias speak fluent English and are a good source of information. Just let you know that thr bus station for Timgad is not the same as for Setif or Constantine.

Cons:

Lack of the city maps. At least there should be one on the wall, to have the orientation. But there is the same situation in every city in Algeria!

Simple,Propre, pas de bêtes ou nuisibles, personnels super gentils et à l’écoute si besoin d’un renseignement ou d’un taxi , pâtisseries fraîches tout les matins dés 6h00 , situé en plein centre ville de Batna, je suis très contente de mon séjour ,🙂

Excellent Value for money Hotel
Pros:

The Hotel offers Excellent Value for money. It was the cheapest Hotel we stayed in during our 2 week road trip around Algeria but in terms of Value for Money was the Best. The rooms were clean, not too small and had working AC, ideal for a short stay. The staff were nice and welcoming and the breakfast was better than some more expensive hotels we stayed in. Generally we found the Quality of hotels in Algeria very poor regardless of how expensive they were. We found the same applied to international branded hotels too which was very disappointing. Would I stay here again? Considering the Excellent Value for money this hotel offers and bearing in mind the generally low standard of most, more Expensive, Algerian hotels, Yes I definitely would.

Cons:

Water was leaking into the toilet basin, though I was shown a manual work-around to stop the leak, this was far from ideal.

La ubicación y la comodidad de la habitación. Mención especial al recepcionista de las noches, fue muy agradable con nosotros.

Kompetente und hilfsbereite Rezeption, behilflich auch bei Planung/Organisation von Ausflügen in die Umgebung (Lambasse, Timgad, Ghroufi)

geringe Kapazität beim Frühstück (nur 2 Tische), führt mitunter zu Wartezeiten
