Perfect location and the staff were very friendly and accommodating would highly recommend for a short term stay in Mumbai.
Good location. Very near to gate way of India n Taj. Aqua Blue line metro is also very near to travel ! (Cuffe parade)

Staff, particularly Hussain at front desk, was very courteous and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was hearty, plentiful and delicious. A nice touch was the newspaper delivered to your room each morning. Location in the heart of Colaba, busy section 5 minute walk from Gateway to India.

Dining facilities are not proper, Pls upgrade the restaurant with proper menu, Breakfast is just OK...with the kind of amount charged good breakfast is expected.

All good
Very good location close to tourist activities. No need to arrange transportation since you can walk from this central tourist location. Breakfast was also good with good staff
Only issue that came up was one evening/night receptionist who was blatantly lying, making up laws that do not exist to deny service. I had a friend visiting but receptionist insisted it is illegal to have unmarried couples. When asked what law states this, receptionist could not answer and resorted to making excuses for his unacceptable service. It is normal to charge more due to number of people staying in the room but denying service while blaming nonexistent laws is very unprofessional and manipulative. Receptionist needs more training.
For the Indian standard the room was quite clean.
The room's size was great, the toilette clean and big. The position/location is perfect, close to the Gateaway and the connection to Elephanta. Plenty of nice restaurants and bars close to the hotel.
Although the room was clean, the external glasses of the windows were dirty.
The windows were also a little too weak and you could hear the noise of the Indian horns all day long :-)
Last day we needed to wake up at 3:40 in the morning to go to the airport and we asked the hotel to: wake up us at that time; organize a transfer to the airport. We didn't get woke up by them and the taxi was not there and had to ask to call it again.
Positives:
- staff were excellent
- location was good, few minutes walk from India gate and many restaurants
- breakfast was ok
Cons
- rooms are not great, wallpaper coming off, marks on walls sheets etc. generally the rooms need a major renovation
- many reviews on here seem fake, when we were staying the rating went up half a star due to hundreds of 5* star reviews that were published within an hour. We watched the rating go from 3.9 to 4.4 which is concerning
- the images for the rooms online DO NOT reflect what you will get upon check in, please keep this in mind
