Friendly staff, good food, comfortable room, value for money.
Excellent accommodation, very clean. Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough to make the stay enjoyable.
Nothing
Great food and comfortable stay. Friendly staff. Would stay again.
Beautiful thatched pub in a little village. Amazing food and service. Rooms very spacious and comfy. Excellent
Amazing old building and really great modern twist to the rear and also amazing gardens to sit in. When you walk in you are greeted with a lovely old bar and then as you go to the dining area there is a beautiful old continuation of the property which then links to a lovely modern extension of the dining room. Such a beautiful place
Nothing. It was perfect. Absolutely loved the eclectic adornments which must have really taken some thought and this provides some great ‘quirkiness’ to the stay.
Stunning property in a stunning location. A little piece of heaven
Comfortable, wonderful staff, relaxing
Spacious room - tastefully decorated
Food was real let down. Far too many items were missing from the menu and bar - and those ordered were below par
Clean, comfortable, and very friendly and accommodating staff.
Nothing- everything was excellent
Stayed here before. The style of the property and the layout is exceptional.
Staff are always super friendly and helpful, and the food is very very good.
Definitely one of the best English breakfast I have ever had.
Can’t wait to return.
This is a very old building and I totally accept what I’m about to say but for people that are very fussy, We had room 1, lovely room directly above the pub. The soundproofing from the pub and this room isn’t the best. You can hear the music and people enjoying themselves. On this night it all went quiet at around 10pm so it wasn’t a problem for us. If you think it may be a problem, book a garden room.
The rooms are comfortable, quiet and safe parking to the rear. Pleasant gardens and nice pub. Food OK but not as good as when I last stayed.
Food wasn't as good as last time unfortunately. It felt as if it was under new ownership or a change of chef. No coffee pods in room (I know I could have asked).
Lovely location, quirky room, friendly staff, good breakfast and dinner.
Accessible room could do with a small access ramp on the inside of the door.
Fantastic place to stay. Lovely rooms, staff all very professional and friendly.
Breakfasts were amazing, very good choices.
The evening meal we had was really good.
Excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds.
Nothing
Everything about The George was lovely; the room, the food, the staff couldn’t have been nicer.
All excellent, thoroughly enjoyed are stay there. Beers very good especially their own 'the George'
My partner wanted more cocktails to be available and didn't find a wine she particularly liked.
The whole place is homely and clean. The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing.
Wish could of stayed longer
