Brilliant property, lovely location and everyone was so welcoming it was a really fun pleasurable experience and will be
Pros:

Amazing old building and really great modern twist to the rear and also amazing gardens to sit in. When you walk in you are greeted with a lovely old bar and then as you go to the dining area there is a beautiful old continuation of the property which then links to a lovely modern extension of the dining room. Such a beautiful place

Cons:

Nothing. It was perfect. Absolutely loved the eclectic adornments which must have really taken some thought and this provides some great ‘quirkiness’ to the stay.

Nice room - disappointing food
Pros:

Spacious room - tastefully decorated

Cons:

Food was real let down. Far too many items were missing from the menu and bar - and those ordered were below par

Superb little hotel and pub with great food.
Pros:

Stayed here before. The style of the property and the layout is exceptional.
Staff are always super friendly and helpful, and the food is very very good.
Definitely one of the best English breakfast I have ever had.
Can’t wait to return.

Cons:

This is a very old building and I totally accept what I’m about to say but for people that are very fussy, We had room 1, lovely room directly above the pub. The soundproofing from the pub and this room isn’t the best. You can hear the music and people enjoying themselves. On this night it all went quiet at around 10pm so it wasn’t a problem for us. If you think it may be a problem, book a garden room.

I would stay again as it is quiet and rooms are nice.
Pros:

The rooms are comfortable, quiet and safe parking to the rear. Pleasant gardens and nice pub. Food OK but not as good as when I last stayed.

Cons:

Food wasn't as good as last time unfortunately. It felt as if it was under new ownership or a change of chef. No coffee pods in room (I know I could have asked).
