Boa localização, cozinha muito suja, café da manhã muito fraco e casa de banho péssima
Pros:

A cama era confortável, e o ar condicionado funcionava

Cons:

Casa de banho era partilhada, não era como na imagem, fizeram divisórias para quem toma banho e para quem utiliza o vaso sanitário isso tudo dentro de uma casa de banho minúscula, sem contar que é apenas 1 casa de banho para mais de 6 pessoas usarem

Pros:

The room was nice and clean including facilities that were mentioned in the advertisement.

Cons:

There was a toilet blockage in the morning and we couldn't use the toilet
The kitchen was a bit messy.
We were not happy as we had to pay a £40 parking charge that was indicated as free on booking.com website.
Just to mention that this is not a complain- it's just some aspects for the host to improve. Generally we had a good stay. Thanks

The hostess was very kind and polite, but I think she should clean the kitchen and the shower better.
Pros:

Very good location and close to the US embassy. My room was nice and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The room is in a building that I believe is illegal to rent out. The kitchen was extremely dirty, and when I arrived, my room was still a mess. The host asked me to wait a few minutes while she cleaned.

Very clean, quiet & chilled
Pros:

I was basic but clean & warm with a decent shower. Sleeping in bunk bed was strange at first but actually a comfortable bed

Everything was great, the location was also great, everything was close. The lady was very nice, helpful and great. The room and other facilities were clean. Thank you for a pleasant stay, we will definitely come back again

A disaster

0/10 — THE MOST DISTURBING, MISLEADING AND HOSTILE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
What I encountered was nothing like the listing, and the host’s behaviour was so aggressive and intimidating that I felt unsafe almost immediately.

MISLEADING LISTING + POSSIBLY ARTIFICIAL PHOTOS
The photos looked unnaturally polished and did not resemble the real property in any way. What I found was:
< A cramped room with no private bathroom or kitchen, despite the listing heavily implying otherwise
< A shared bathroom divided with flimsy wooden panels, nothing like the modern bathroom shown online
< A “kitchen” shared with several strangers, covered in personal-use stickers and showing clear neglect
< “Breakfast” reduced to a few leftover items
Other guests echoed the same issues:
< “Annonce mensongère” (misleading listing)
< “Filthy kitchen… three rented rooms in one tiny flat”
< “Wardrobe locked with chains instead of usable storage”
The contrast between the photos and reality was so extreme that it raised serious doubts about how representative the images truly were.

EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE HOST: MARZIEH ANSARI,THE MOST SHOCKING PART
The host’s behaviour was openly hostile from the very beginning:
< Keys thrown on the ground instead of being handed over
< Shouting at us over normal questions
< Repeating “I AM THE BOSS HERE” aggressively
< Calling me “insane” for simply adding one more guest
< Demanding an undeclared £20 cash “penalty” for selecting one person instead of two in a double room
< Threatening to call the police over ordinary, harmless requests
Many other guests reported the same pattern: shouting, accusations, threats, and being spoken to with hostility.

FEELING UNSAFE + HOSTILITY EVEN AFTER LEAVING
Even after leaving the room cleaner than we found it, the aggressive messages continued. The final message I received stated:
