Staff were friendly, the bed was comfy, and the view and location were great.
We wanted a night at the seaside and it is in a perfect position.
I didn't enjoy the cobwebs I had to clean from the shower! They were short staffed, and the girls who were serving breakfast were friendly, apologetic, and doing their best, but the wait was really long. The one man who seemed to be in charge could have stepped in and helped but, instead, helped himself to a juice, said ' they'll be with you in a minute' and strolled off, leaving us waiting to be seated.
The hotel is full of faded elegance and must have been beautiful once, but the rooms are very tired now and the bathroom was really unappealing.
The hotel SHOULD NOT SELL ANY SPARE ROOMS
BE WARNED THE HOTEL OWN THE TRAVEL COMOSNY THAT BRING HOARDS OF CISCH TRIPS IN. They should not be selling the odd left room at double the price! Did not get breakfast we paid for
Booked this for a photography trip. So Location was perfect. Right on the front yards from the pier.
I arrived for lunch and did sunset and also got up for sunrise, so room was just a simple single. Good value and the bonus was free parking right outside the hotel.
Can be busy with Coach parties so need to be on the ball at meal times.
Breakfast
There was nothing I didn’t like
Close to all amenities
Great location, lovely staff, nice and clean and the bed was comfy
Food of average quality. Salad rather disappointing. Unusually refused alternative chefs special, although most Alfa hotels have a few portions for SD arrivals on the day! Decor needs attention in some areas.
Limited parking
No complimentary drinking water in the room
Lovely location looking out to sea. Very limited parking.
Hotel was lovely and clean, breakfast ok, table service, and cooked to order.
Room was very hot, window opened slightly, due to safety. Light outside bedroom quite bright, but when the curtains were pulled there was no air.
Be great if air-conditioned could be installed.
To be honest, lovely hotel for older people.
Great location.
Sea view from our room.
The seating for breakfast was a little chaotic. We were told we had to sit at a specific table, even though we explained it wasn't ideal as the sun was blazing through the window, making it very uncomfortable.
I had to eat my breakfast with sunglasses on.
Very good mainly for superb location and friendly staff
Dated, but expected. Was impossible to sleep in room due to noise
Noise in room.
