Great staff and service. The breakfast was average but the staff made the experience for me.
Friendly, chatty and polite.
I did not book a quiet room, if given the option I would have booked a sea view.
Room was too warm and the windows did not open enough because of a drainage pipe that stopped it.
It satisfied the need for break that we needed

Lovely old building, fabulous stained glass windows, beautiful high dining room ceiling, fabulous stairs and handrails, high fireplaces, nice reception area, great original building, food, entertainment, staff were great.
Didn’t like our room 11, seemed like not part of the original building, as we were on the side and not at the front of the building which we hoped to be, although we had a small view of the Pier, we were disappointed with the room.
Very good breakfast and excellent service
Parking was OK but would be problematic later in year

Excellent breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff.
All staff were lovely and very helpful. Beautiful building with stained glass that looked like it was being well looked after. Decent-sized bathroom & powerful, hot shower.
Old sash windows meant a chilly draught and all noise from the street, including Saturday night revelry from the various pubs etc around us, could not be shut out in any way. Poor night's sleep because of the noise & draught, but fully appreciate the noise is part of the hotel's location & windows may be of historical importance so restricted in terms of what could be done to reduce the outside getting in!
Great location, nice breakfast, friendly staff.
The room was dated, and got very hot (in February)
There was a fan but I would imagine air con would definitely improve it. Especially in summer

Location, staff, building.
Breakfast food was poor. Smell of drains in the bathroom was quite strong, couldn't open a window fully to air it out.
