Pros:

We lved the room it was clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable we both slept the best we have for ages.
The breakfast was fresh and delicious and I asked for oat milk for the room and was given it with no problem.

Cons:

The toilet door was not frosted enough and we felt uncomfortable with it

Cons:

Complete shambles. Was booked for my mum to stay two nights. Checked, heating in the room was not working. Offered a second room, that heating was not working either. Offered a portable heater, that did not work.
Not once did staff on duty that night come up to the room(s) with me to check the temps or the radiators. I even asked for a rad key to bleed the rads!!
I was up and down the stairs like a yo-yo without any assistance from staff. Ended up checking my mum back out, getting a refund and off to another hotel at 10:30 at night. Sh*t show!

Modern abstract rooms, super comfy beds
Pros:

Extremely comfortable bed and huge rooms, restaurant and grounds are nice, bad points aside the main thing about staying in a hotel is getting a good sleep and that bed is the best bed I have ever slept in

Cons:

I stayed at the very top and wooden floors where a nightmare the slightest movement and it was very loud, my room had a strange layout with bed angled across the room so many lights and switches on the top of the bed headrest it was overkill

Really good value and a nice atmosphere. For us it was a good place for 4 friends to catchup and we would definitely ret
Pros:

Quirky and interesting. The room was cleverly designed and well equipped. Good quality washing and tea/coffee products and comfortable bedding.

Cons:

Decor was a little tired and there was no full length mirror in the bedroom. Service was a little inconsistent - friendly and helpful on arrival and during lunch/dinner but not so good at breakfast. Similarly lunch/dinner menu was really nice but breakfast was patchy.

It was OK, but I won't return.
Pros:

Location good. Facilities nice. Room nice. Pub noisy until 10.30 pm, but then quieted down which you would expect.

Cons:

Food. Breakfast included in price was really disappointing. One person tried his best to check people in/ out, take orders, serve. He did his best, but we waited 20 min for our coffee, which was served after the breakfast arrived. They clearly need more staff in the morning.
Breakfast 1- Salmon& scrambled eggs. Salmon 'lumped' on top, not well presented and did not taste very fresh. Not even a lemon slice included which you'd expect. Breakfast 2 - pancakes and bacon- pancakes tough as if re-warmed , bacon ( stated on menu as crispy) was completetely over cooked and too tough to eat- like it was either under a grill for ages or re-warmed.
Orange juice was lovely though.
Everyone around us waited ages-like us- fir their order to be taken/ served. And the breakfast area was not even full.

An atmospheric location, offering quality and value in Bedford
Pros:

Great character building with comfortable rooms. The bar and restaurant offer great choice and quality at competitive prices. Inclusive breakfast was outstanding. Offers a customer car park with no fee and high power charging for an EV. Only a short walk into town if you want to explore.

Cons:

It was a little bit cold in the bedroom, but staff did find an electric heater which eventually took off the chill.

Made welcome. Small things in the room would make stay even better.

Tv in the room had poor reception.
Plug sockets were limited.
Some industrial noise could be heard in the room (room 5) all night.
