Would have preferred a larger room
Pros:

Breakfast was lovely but there should have been tongs beside the bread . People were using there fingers .

Cons:

The room was more like a single , also we were above the kitchen and the generator fans came on at 5?oclock

Excellent as expected, in all departments.
Pros:

I've stayed many times and The City Hotel always hits ' the spot ' ; never fails to please. The prices are always competitive, the food is excellent ( steak pie to die for ), the staff are always smartly dressed and polite and nothing is a trouble to them

Cons:

Nothing not to like , honest. I can't think of anything.
