Other than my room, food was decent and huge portions
Pros:

Proximity to Pittencrieff Park

Cons:

Room 21 .. bed wall was so thin I could hear people from room 22 walk, talk, sneeze etc clearly
Their alarm was so loud I thought there was a fire at 6:30am
Above street so noisy
Sink and glass shower wall were so close I’d hit the glass while brushing my teeth
Slanted ceiling so low in places
Watch your head and bring ear plugs!

Cons:

A shelf or unit to put my toilet bag on in the room (26) en suite would have been helpful.

Pros:

Excellent staff, great choice of breakfast options, lots of parking available. Restaurant that is part of the hotel was great too, lots of good food at very reasonable prices, also had a good gluten free menu too.

Wonderful little hotel
Pros:

Lovely hotel in the heart of the city. I was up for a football game in Dunfermline anyway, so I didn't need to stay in (expensive) Edinburgh

Fantastic breakfast was included with the room rate

I would stay here again

Cons:

Be aware, if arriving by train, that the hotel & centre is a steep uphill walk from the station

Narrow staircase up to the second floor; I would have struggled with anything other than small luggage

Pros:

Nice hotel in a great location, food was excellent and good value for money. Staff where very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The room we where given was a bot on the small side and was extremely warm. The room was a bit dated in style. It was right next to doorway entrence to the hallway and the door would bang everytime someone came through. And the fire alarm went off at 6am . But the room was comfortable and had what we needed
