The bedrooms are really clean and very well equipped. Beds were also comfortable. Convenient to have a restaurant available also.

Beautiful location next to the lake; really idyllic and a good starting point for hikers who go on to hike to Montreux through the vineyards.

Cons:

The breakfast selection was quite limited and not really worth 20 CHF per person for the quality of the choices available.

The site stated that staff spoke English and French; which wasn’t the case for all. I have sufficient French to understand 50% of a conversation but for other travellers, particularly from abroad may struggle in communicating. All information sheets in the room and reception also were only available in French.

Great stay in a great location!
Pros:

Location is excellent, room was a little small but the view made up for it!

Nice dinner in the restaurant, and lovely sitting outside in the morning with a coffee and pastry

Cons:

The staff were great, with the exception of one who was not great at the check in, and who also virtually forced us to our rooms at 11pm!

Tout est parfait l'accueil la situation.
Lors de la réservation je me suis trompée en réservant pour une personne au lieu de deux et un grand merci au propriétaire qui ont maintenu le prix de la chambre sans supplément. Grande classe.

Entspannte Tage im wunderschönen Cully an der Lavaux.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels direkt am See ist perfekt!
Die Aussicht hier in der Lavaux auf See und Berge einfach ein Traum.
Das Personal des Hotels war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Wir haben im Hotel auch einmal ein Nachtessen genossen, es war sehr fein gekocht!

Cons:

Das Frühstück wurde im Hotel du Resin eingenommen.
Dieses befindet sich gerade neben dem Hotel Major Duval.
Das Frühstück selbst war OK, die Lebensmittel in Ordnung.
Leider gab es immer wieder Probleme mit der Kaffeemaschine, so dass man hier leider unnötigerweise an jedem Morgen warten musste, bis diese wieder funktioniert hat.
Die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals beim Frühstück war nicht so gut.

Cons:

Un téléphone le jour même pour annuler notre réservation au restaurant de l’hôtel car l’heure tardive ne convenait plus. La réservation avait été validée par le site pourtant. Nous avons finalement mangé ailleurs dans le village. C’était très bon.
