Please note, pets can only be accommodated in the Annex Rooms or the Cottage for an additional fee of GBP 20 per dog per night. Pets are not allowed in the rooms located in the main house.

Dissappointing.
Pros:

Location was OK as we knew the place from passing. Food was good in restaurant. Ambience in main building OK and general staff attitude was pleasant.

Cons:

There was little car parking we had to park on verge of public road. We had to walk in the rain to our cabin/chalet. Main Hotel taken over by hikers and bikers or tour groups. Crowded and noisy. Restaurant seating poor. Restaurant understaffed so food took time to arrive. We don't mean Fast food but just timely service. The cabins were grouped like a Holiday park or WW1 PoW camp. We knew we would be in the grounds, we had booked a garden view but not like this as a terrace of chalets like Butlins. The word 'Cabin' or Chalet implies detached which they definitely were not. If we had had more daylight we may have declined to stay but after a 300 miles drive we just wanted to rest and there was little else in the immediate area.

Très bel emplacement un peu cher
Pros:

Bel emplacement sur le WHW. Les chambres sont confortables et bien équipées, la restauration de bonne qualité mais un peu chère. Possibilité de commander des pique-niques pour la randonnée du lendemain.

Cons:

Le personnel un peu distant. Dommage lorsque les tarifs sont ceux d’un hôtel de luxe.

Schönes aber überteuertes Hotel

Recht schönes Hotel in guter Lage direkt am West Highland Way.

Overpriced and did not deliver as promised
Pros:

Bar staff was friendly and food good.
Room was clean and in close proximity of West Highland Way.

Cons:

My room had a loose/broken door handle on door next to sliding glass door(patio door , which made it difficult for the door to completely catch and lock, which made it a safety issue (personal safety for solo female traveler and/or inability to secure valuables), when I brought this to the attention of the check in person at the front desk, the front desk person condescendingly/rudely told me we are fully booked what do you want me to do about it. No maintenance check was offered.

Precio no coherente con el producto
Pros:

Lo único positivo fue la señora de recepción, que me dió un trato excelente.

Cons:

Por el precio que pagué esperaba algo mejor, el hotel carece de los servicios que necesité, las vistas desde la habitación (frente al río) tampoco eran increibles ya que solo se veian los arboles delante y realmente no veías el puente o el río, para desayunar solo puedes elegir una opción (tipo de tostada/huevos) y está lleno de gente por lo que puede que tengas que esperar. El hotel en sí es la única oferta de hosteleria en una zona que es para obligada para muchos senderistas, por lo que el restaurante también estará lleno de gente.
Creo que el precio es elevado y que en cierta forma abusan de ser la ser única opción de alojamiento en la zona (a excepción de un hostal). No repetiría.

Pros:

Mein Zimmer hatte einen direkten Ausblick zur Bridge of orchy und war sehr ruhig gelegen.
Das Personal im Restaurant war sehr schnell, sehr freundlich und hat alle Wünsche von den Augen abgelesen.

Cons:

In der Dusche waren Verschmutzungen und der Abfluss war dreckig. Bei so einem Zimmerpreis darf das nicht passieren
