This hotel is a total SCAM. I did not even stay at the hotel because the pictures listed on Booking.com have nothing to do with the reality.
1. You can not enter the room by yourself, as the PIN code I received wasn't working. Stayed knocking on the front door for 10 minutes before I decided to go to the back of the house to see there wasn't a second entrance
2. You have to walk to back of the house through a small cramped and scary alley to meet a door keeper standing in the cold that barely speaks english or french
3. You wait minutes in the cold for the door keeper to first call the landlord to get the entrance door PIN code while very unfriendly individuals keep hanging around that back entrance
4. I waited in the cold for another 10 minutes before the landlord could give the door keep the pin code
5. Once you enter this OLD and unmaintained house, you immediately notice that the ceiling is barely 1m80 high and I kept knocking my head
6. The room had a tiny bed with smelly sheets and just a small table and chair. Looks like the room might even hygiene issues
7. The bathroom is tiny old and has 2 doors to the right and left. A client from another room can easily walk in on you
8. IN short, I paid 300 CAD for 2 nights but preferred to look for another hotel in the middle of the might after the Landlord clearly reminded me the Booking was NON REFUNDABLE

That I feared for my life!! I was walked to a completely different property instead of this one, when I confronted the strange man that took me from this place to another and said I wanted a refund this doesn’t feel safe he did agree, now weeks later, have I got my money?obviously not! Ridiculous, no safety, obviously no care for the customers! Do not book!

There was not staff at the property, and no way to contact anyone. Emails were un answered and the phone number that was given was unavailable
It been listed on booking.com.

No response from owners, had no key to lock my room, nobody bothered contacting me about it.

Couldn’t get into it. Horrible part of town. Druggies and hookers and homeless people all around.

Drug addicts wander around the streets in the area but just don’t make eye contact and mind your own business and you’ll be fine.

Junkies vor der Türe, zu wenig Handtücher. Steckdose nicht neben dem Bett. Keinen größeren Mülleimer.

Iniziamo col dire che la struttura era in accogliente fin dall’inizio dal suo ingresso perché sporca e puzzolente. Le condizioni erano igieniche sanitarie erano sotto la soglia della decenza. Le coperte sporche, asciugamani anche peggio, per non parlare della condizione oscena del bagno. Sanitari piene di grasso, peli di ospiti precedenti, polvere ed infine doccia che casca a pezzi. Esperienza della vacanza totalmente rovinata dalla struttura. Dunque sicuramente non la consiglieremo neanche al nostro peggior nemico.

The location is terrible unfortunately, in a notoriously bad area of Toronto with drug addicts constantly outside the exit door. I don’t recommend it for this reason. Even the small window in my room has people lingering outside which makes it feel uncomfortable and I was harassed by men when walking even in the middle of the day.

The house is located in a very sketchy area.

No reception. I reached at midnight and was not sent the code for the main door and details of my room. Overpriced for a small room in the basement. Noisy. One towel for 3 days. Bedsheets were clean but not fresh. No wardrobe. Room felt smaller but the second foldable bed stacked inside. But rather clean room.

I am sorry to say but I think your room is way overprized. It is not the room you advertised at the Booking site. Why not say that the kitchen and living room you show are not for guests -- guests are supposed to hide in de cellar and pass a very, very dirty kitchen. I did not enjoy, and I think the room you gave me is worth 50 dollar.
