Stark überteuert zur Karnevalszeit
Pros:

Ausblick vom Hotel über die Stadt Mindelo ist ganz ok. Der Pool ist sauber und das Frühstücksbuffet lecker und ausreichend. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Personal sehr nett.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist stark überteuert für die Einzelzimmer, welche im Keller ohne richtiges Fenster liegen. Dazu sind diese Zimmer viel zu klein.
Die Lage des Hotels ist auch nicht sonderlich gut. Oben auf einem Hügel gelegen von welchem man jedes mal durch eine herunter gekommene Gegend runter laufen muss. Die Preise zur Karnevalszeit waren massiv überteuert, weshalb es vermutlich das einzige Hotel der Stadt war welches noch Platz hatte. Ein Preis von ca. 70-80€ pro Nacht wären noch gerechtfertigt aber meiner Ansicht nach nicht mehr.

Pros:

Breakfast was good. Great location if you are able bodied and can walk. Great view of the town. I would stay again. I walked alone through this neighbourhood as a white guy with no issues day and night.

Cons:

Their communication sucked but that might be a cultural thing. I dont know.

Fantastisch hotel
Pros:

Super gastvrij personeel, van koffers tillen tot verlaat ontbijt verzorgen. Uitzicht van het hotel is geweldig en zwembad is mooi. Hotelkamer was mooi en comfortabel.

Cons:

Douche had beetje lekkage, maar wel warm en comfortabel.

Anfahrt sehr steil und auf schlechter Straße. Neue Zufahrt auf der Rückseite wird z.Z. ausgebaut.

Pros:

Comfortable room. Super friendly staff. Great views over Mindelo.

Cons:

No shuttle service available and quite a hike from town through areas of a building site. The bar was a poorly stocked padlocked fridge - so not a place to hang out and relax.

Pros:

Het uitzicht

Cons:

Het hotel ligt boven aan een berg, met vooral savonds een schitterend uitzicht. Jammer dat er niet vermeld was dat het hotel zo hoog was, en de route er naar toe vervelend was door restant gesteente van het orkaan dat over de weg verspreid lag. Onderaan de berg oogt geen fijne wandel ing te zijn als je al lopend beneden kunt komen, buurt oogt armoedig niets toeristisch. Los van dat de mensen ongetwijfeld erg aardig zullen zijn, het gaat om de indruk van de buurt, niet van de mensen zelf!

Bon déjeuner - vue splendide sur la baie

La situation géographique est un peu loin du centre et rentrer à pied à la tombée de la nuit est un peu délicat - pas eu soucis !
Beaucoup trop de chiens errant qui font un tapage infernal - obligation de fermer la fenêtre

Casi nos vamos, pero al final fue nuestra mejor estancia en Cabo Verde

La chica de la recepción y el desayuno de las mañanas era super super simpática. Te llamaban a taxis cuando querías (2,50€ el trayecto al centro). Muy buena atención. Instalaciones guays. Poca gente. Desayuno suuuper variado hasta te hacían los huevos al gusto y al momento y se alargaban más allá de la hora.

Cons:

Estaba un poco lejos del centro y no se puede ir caminando. La carretera para llegar está un poco destrozada así que cuando llegas piensas: ¿qué hago aquí? Nosotras casi nos cambiamos de hotel cuando llegamos, pero la verdad que merece 100% la pena bajar y subir con taxi porque es muy fácil y están muy atentos a todo y el hotel lo merece.

Prachtig uitzicht vanaf de berg

Cons:

De ligging is op een berg, er is daar verder weinig kwa faciliteiten ( winkel , restaurant / bar) je kunt overdag naar het centrum van mindelo lopen ongeveer 20 min. In de avond met een taxi terug, (niet veilig in de straatjes en erg donker plus een deel van het wegdek is niet geasfalteerd, veel kuilen etc.)
