Cons:

I thought it was beachfront but it is not, however is still very close (1 back from beach) so can walk across road and you are there.

The room was really clean and very close to the beach. We received a warm welcome, a tourist guide prepared by the object (restaurant recommendations, were to watch the sunset etc.). Very comfy bed :) Overall, we were really happy with the room and service.

Albanian hospitality at its best.
Pros:

The property is new so it’s sparkling clean, modern and very comfortable. You can tell that they take care of the property very well.
Very large room, bathroom and balcony.
An excellent location, close to the beach and has a supermarket and burek/pizza places on the street level of the building and the promenade with restaurants/cafes close by.
I can’t say enough about the kindness and hospitality of the owners of this family run hotel. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable at all times. Doreen’s was always responsive and communicative and helpful with tips and recommendations. She even make me a coffee which was lovely! This makes such a difference as a solo female traveller. I enjoyed my stay so much I extended it.
The local bus stop is only 2 minutes walk away by foot, which is also convenient when using the buses to travel through Albania.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn’t like about the hotel. It is perfect.
Unfortunately as it is the height of the summer holidays the area is very busy and crowded (the whole of Shengjin). There is loud music that can be heard from a near by hotel that stops at 12am. The whole promenade area is full of these places with very loud music.
But it was not a problem for me as the hotel is well insulated from the noise so I could barely hear it when the doors and windows are closed.
Just be warned - Shengjin is not a place to come to in summer if you want peace and quiet! It’s a very lively and fun place in summer and is full of families holidaying.
