Pros:

Nice location within Renmin Square. Access to other hotels within the square (to use pool/gym facilities) and nearby restaurants was great. Slightly dated interiors but still a great stay for the price point.

Struttura un po' datata ma ben tenuta e pulita.
Staff eccezionale, al nostro arrivo essendo il nostro anniversario ci hanno fatto trovare una bellissima sorpresa.

Der Zimmerservice war super das Essen im Hotel ebenso. Der Zimmerservice hat ebenfalls soetwas wie eine Qualitätssicherung,daher wir wurden von jemand anderem gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei. Die Lage mitten im Park und mitten in der Stadt ist natürlich klasse

Man könnte vllt mal im Bad die Marmorverkleidung austuaschen,die war links vom Klo etwas lose

Place was undergoing renovations when I stayed there. Very noisy, it was clean and a nice location. They gym and other restaurants, where in another hotel down the street.

Pros:

Booked at this hotel because of its history. Knew it would be an older building but that is what we wanted. It is in a very quiet part of Xian inside the wall. Not in the very center of all the action but an easy ride from everything. Beautiful area. Really in a complex of three hotels. It is the less expensive of the two historic properties. Elegant old-style decor but appropriate for the building. Nice breakfast. Everything was great.

Cons:

In a few ways you know the building is from the 1950s. Hopefully any future updates will be appropriate for the building and will not result in a big jump in price. We were willing to accept a few quirks knowing that we could never experience such a hotel at such a great price anywhere else.

It was pleasant enough.
Pros:

The rooms need an update especially the bathroom.

Cons:

The cleaners would knock on the door and disturb our sleep in the morning. The front door to the hotel isn’t automatic which is inconvenient. Although there were staff to open the doors manually - they are not always present.
