Poor maintenance and apathy, these folks don’t understand difference in hotel and home stay , false claim of 5*

I’ll maintained run down property. When we reached so called private pool was empty and they asked if you would like to fill it , of course you want your pool to be filled. Next day half pool was empty. Cleaning staff did not make the bed. Glass was dirty on check in. No restaurant to seat, extremely limited food options. Mold was there on many furnishings

Location was serene. Only single property right infront of the Sea beach of Kumta.Private pool. Rooms were big so was the view.

Cons:

The property was not maintained at all. Stinking pool with molds, no lights outside, electricity fluctuations, no WiFi and fungus in the room made me feel I wasted my money on this stay.

I stayed with my parents for 2 days at this beautiful property amidst nature, right in front of the sea. Had a lovely ex
Pros:

The property is a scenic marvel right with a great beach front! The best part about the location was the locals. I enjoyed watching the fishermen and nature along with birds and dogs. The staffs were extremely sweet and humble. Vikram, the chef served us with customised vegetarian hygienic homemade food that actually was a mix of North/south Indian and local delicacies. Every little detail was taken care of and we felt like we were at home outside home! Had a wonderful experience indeed.

Cons:

The location was perfect but locating it was a little difficult as there was no specific board on the road. But very sweetly one of the staffs came to escort us from the main road. However, the board can help the guests locate the property easily.

The stay was okay. Not great, but okay

Internet and wifi did not work to a reasonable speed. My meeting using Teams was a total disaster.

Private Paradise
Pros:

The location is so scenic and feels so private. Like your very own piece of paradise. The hosts, Sunny and aneesh, were very welcoming and took care of all our requests. The food was delicious and catered to our dietary needs. The cottage in itself was out of this world. The glass facade gave a fantastic view of the beach and the sea. The sunset and sunrise were breathtaking, and at night, you could see so many stars and enjoy the calmness of the night while listening to the crashing waves. It was a very unique experience. There are quite a few surprises for the guests that I don't want to spoil, but if you wanna enjoy an untouched paradise, stay at Kurma.
