Friendly, caring and kind hosts, and great location for Cuc Phuong National Park.
Pros:

The stand outs for this property for us were the location, extremely lovely hosts and the cute little doggy. It’s very close to the national park entrance so good for an early start to make the most of a day there. We also rented a scooter from the property which was convenient. The roof terrace offers beautiful views to enjoy while you eat breakfast. The air con and tv were in good working order.

Cons:

The photos on booking.com didn’t quite match the reality. Maybe they are from when the hotel was new. It felt a bit worn and dated, and as a keen all-weather swimmer, the pool didn’t look as inviting as in the photos but we did stay before the peak season so maybe they clean it later on. The flush on the toilet broke twice but they fixed it quickly as soon as we reported it. The fridge didn’t work but we didn’t really need it so didn’t bother reporting it. The main issue was the bedding felt damp and the room smelt musty but I’m not sure how avoidable this is in such a humid climate - you are in tropical jungle conditions up there.

Pros:

The owners are so sweet and helpful. Lovely spot and very close to the National Park. Clean rooms. Couple of great places to eat as well. Breakfast was yummy! Simply loved staying here!

Pros:

Underbart läge, fantastiskt rum med enastående utsikt. Mycket hjälpsam personal.

Pros:

First of all, the owners are super friendly and very nice. They do not speak english at all, but we could communicate with translation apps.
Room was ok, as advertised.

Cons:

Everything in the room was damp and musty, including the duvet. Its a very humid area, but still I except sheets to be washed and dried properly.
The breakfast was a banh mi sandwich with a undercooked and cold egg. Wouldn’t recommend.
We asked to do our laundry, they charged us 100‘000 for 2kg and returned us in the morning. Everything was still wet. At other places we payed maximum 50‘000 and it was perfectly dry.

Pros:

We had an amazing stay at Cuc Phuong Meni. The property was very clean, the owners were so kind and welcoming. It is located close to the park. The breakfast was delicious. One of the best place we have stayed at so far.
