La relación calidad-precio es muy mala. Pagué un verdadero dineral por 2 noches, y por ese precio esperas muchas más comodidades. Ni siquiera tenía gel de ducha! Ni bata de baño, ni alfombras, ni un mísera buena pastilla de jabón. El "buffet" de desayuno súper limitado! El primer día no tenía tortillas! Y el segundo, a las 11 ya se les había acabado el pan dulce! (Cuando el horario era hasta la 1) si hubiera pagado un cuarto de lo que pagué, todo bien, por lo que pagué esperaba muchísimo más

the view is exactly how the picture depicts it. it really is a stunning view.

the very first day we arrived there we stepped on the grass and into the rooms, we were stung by hundreds of ticks and fleas. we couldn't stop the itch. we went to the manager and she calmly said "yeah, you know, its because of the raining season. better stay off the grass so you can avoid the bugs, they really are tough on skin, particularly on kids". long story short: kids got fever, we were afraid of going into the bed and we just couldn't stop scratching. A true nightmare!!! They offered to change the bed linens everyday, but with so many bugs in the grass it's impossible to keep them off the rooms that are next to the garden. I hated the place and the poor management of the place. there is nothing sustainable about that place except for the part where they keep bugs that invade the whole space. nasty. i guess fumigation is out of the table.

The views are amazing at this boutique hotel that has a lot of character and charm!
Pros:

The staff are really nice, helpful, and accommodating. It’s a short 15 min walk downhill to town and feels like you’re at a tranquil retreat. The bed was large and comfortable, the room was spacious, and the shower had lots of hot water. When we asked about a shared fridge to store some basics, they brought a mini/ fridge to our room! The grounds are beautiful and the views cannot be beat, and true romantic getaway.

Cons:

We were told breakfast was included but it was not. The room we booked had a tv but there was no cable, so they moved us to another room with a smart tv so it was all good. The second room had very little places to put clothing, no closet, no towel racks or hooks, not even a toilet paper holder. For the price, we thought the amenities would be just a little nicer and functional. Great stay overall though.

Beautiful hotel
Pros:

Stunning setting and beautiful house with spectacular views of Lake Patzcuaro. Gardens, flowers everywhere and tranquility.

Cons:

Had to argue with breakfast staff about our breakfast being included, which was slightly uncomfortable. Need better communication between made hotel management and restaurant staff. Breakfast was good, once we got over that hurdle! Also the location was slightly remote from town but still walkable.

There wasn’t anything big that was bad about it, it was just less comfortable and nowhere near as rural as it seemed from the photos. The breakfast was small and ok.

Pros:

The location is stunning and so peaceful. Spacious rooms, helpful staff. A 10/15 minute walk to the town centre which was fine and easy to get a cab back if you need to.

Cons:

Only two channels on the TV, which our 13 year old wasn't impressed with.
