Bon emplacement, chambre climatisée,
Lit confortable, petit déjeuner correct.
Il s'agissait de notre 2e séjour dans cet établissement. Pas déçu.

Cons:

Porte coulissante entre salle de bain et chambre peut parfois se coincer.

Excellent stay in comfortable, clean and friendly hotel with excellent public transport out front
Pros:

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Staff were very friendly. I got to check in (early) upon arrival. The hotel and room were clean, very well airconditioned in the canicule (heatwave), and comfortable. There is a (very tiny) elevator so it is easy to get to the higher floors of the hotel. The area around Gare de l'Est turned out to be quite pleasant, much better than I remembered it from say 7 years ago. As a single female I walked round the hotel feeling completely comfortable until late in the evening.
Gare de l'Est offers easy access to metro, buses in front of the hotel, restaurants around and streets with cozy terraces a very short walk away. It is within a short walking distance of Gare du Nord or just one stop on the bus for the Eurostar trains. All in all, I had an amazing stay at Hotel d'Alsace and would absolutely stay here again as it's very comfortable, friendly with excellent access to the rest of the city.

Chambre confortable et spacieuse.

Cons:

Insonorisation extérieure largement insuffisante. Absence de paroi de douche (chaque utilisation provoquant une quasi-inondation). Petit-déjeuner très limité pour un 3 étoiles (très très peu de choix, notamment en salé).
