Pros:

Most of the staff didn’t speak the basic English. Couldn’t understand each other only with a few. Other than this big inconvenience the property is nice. People friendly when they understand you.

We chose this property from a list on Expedia based upon facility description and price. We were not disappointed! The facility is absolutely gorgeous, with pleasing architecture and beautiful rooms. We stayed in The Reserve, which was adults only and right next to the pristine beach. The Reserve provided us a personal concierge, who arranged dinner reservations at many different restaurants within the property, and was available for any needs or questions we had. We developed a personal relationship with him. I celebrated my 76th birthday while there, and our concierge decorated our room with balloons and delivered a bottle of wine and a birthday cake! What a treat!
Amazing and fun daily activities included crafts, painting, rum tasting, yoga, and many others, including nightly live entertainment.
The food was truly delicious. We especially enjoyed the buffets, which boasted various stations that would prepare an entree right on the spot. We particularly loved the vast variety of local fruits, vegetables, and seafood. Also a large selection of freshly baked breads and pastries. The Dominican cuisine restaurant, Flora, was our favorite.
We are already talking about returning next year with our daughter and her family!

Pros:

We liked that the adult section was exclusive. Our concierge Gustavo was extremely attentive and helpful. The entire staff was very friendly and inviting. There was never a shortage of pulapas and towels. We especially liked that you don't need a card for beach towels. The towels are everywhere. Another great feature is your bracelet is your room key.
