Nothing at all My experience at Hotel Casa Jum in Santiago, Dominican Republic, was extremely disappointing. The hotel was uncomfortable, and the room conditions were unacceptable for tourists. The rooms were dirty, smelled bad, and did not appear to be properly cleaned.

Cons:

I paid in cash upfront for a 3-day stay, but after only one night, I could not continue staying there because of the poor conditions and bad service. When I asked for a refund for the remaining nights, the hotel refused The place did not match what was advertised online. There was no pool, no proper space to relax, and the overall environment felt more like a house converted into a hotel rather than a real hotel experience.

This was one of the worst travel experiences I have ever had. I would not recommend this hotel for tourism or leisure. Travelers should be careful and make sure they understand the payment and refund policies before booking.

Good. Nice. Clean. Safe and friendly. Hot water in the shower in the morning. Good coffee at brekky.
Pros:

Karim was very nice, and his greeting was both warm and professional. He prepared my room in advance, the fridge was cold and the A/C was set to 18. Perfect.

Cons:

The charge to use a credit card was 28%. So of course I paid cash, but that left me without cash for a meal or drinks at the restaurant. The nearest BHD teller was 4 km away, otherwise I would have had drinks and dinner on site.
