Our stay at Hotel Il Perlo in Lake Como was nothing short of exceptional. We chose this beautiful place to celebrate our 18 years wedding anniversary, and it truly made the occasion unforgettable.
The view from our room was simply breathtaking waking up to that panorama every morning felt surreal. The same goes for the restaurant, where the scenery elevates every meal into a special experience.
What made our stay even more memorable was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was absolutely amazing: warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. The reception team deserves a special mention, always welcoming, incredibly helpful, and a joy to talk to. Their excellent English made everything easy and comfortable for us.
The free shuttle service to the town centre is honestly a lifesaver for guests that doesn’t come by car and such a thoughtful touch. It makes exploring effortless while still allowing you to enjoy the peaceful, elevated location of the hotel.
For those who say the hotel is “in the middle of nowhere,” we would say that’s exactly the point and the magic of it. That unique location is what gives you those stunning panoramic views that you simply wouldn’t get otherwise and again they do offer to take you for free in the town centre if you don’t have a car, you just need to put your room number on the schedule.
We recommend this place with great pleasure and can confidently say we will definitely be back very soon.

The location, the view , the fact that is a small hotel makes it extra special. I loved it so much. I will be back.
The bed and pillows was a little unconfortable, and also the airconditioner was not available until my husband removed a screw to access the airconditioner control

Réservé pour une nuit, une des 3 meilleurs chambres, et donc une des plus chère ( suite junior avec terrasse ). Nous sommes arrivés vers 18h30, pour pouvoir profiter du coucher du soleil depuis la chambre. Arriver sur place : personne a l'accueil, juste un mot : parti faire une navette pour des clients, de retour dans quelques minutes... on attends 10 minutes avant d'aller voir le barman juste a côté, qui nous propose un cocktail pour patienter seulement 5 minutes le temps que sa collègue revienne. Après au moins 50 minutes, la personne a l'accueil arrivé, et nous demande d'attendre 30 minutes de plus, car elle a d'autres clients a amener également par navette... au vu de notre agacement, elle propose simplement de faire rapidement une photo de nos carte d'identité pour pouvoir nous donner les clés et de repasser après pour finir le check-in... apres avoir vu la suite que l'on avait choisi, elle décide finalement de faire rapidement notre check-in, pour que le barman puisse nous conduire a notre chambre.
Malheureusement, au vu du prix de la nuit, on s'attendait clairement a plus de sérieux ! Cest sympa d'avoir attendu 50 minutes sur la terrasse du restau, mais on avait payé pour une chambre, pas le restaurant...
Ca se voit qu'ils misent tout sur la vue, le reste, ca la que un peu de sérieux niveau organisation. Car s'absenter pendant 1h30 pour faire des navettes alors que des clients peuvent arriver faire le check-in, c'est pas professionnel ! Le patron devrait peut etre mieux organiser les plannings !
Personnel souriant, gentil aux petits soins pour les clients. La vue à couper le souffle. La navette pour aller et revenir du centre de Bellagio. Le restaurant et le petit déjeuner parfait. Un séjour que nous n'oublierons pas!
Staff were very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed the views of the lake and surrounding towns.
Old and outdated room interior, terrible service at the reception. We arrived at the hotel around 8:00 PM with a child, tired and hungry after the journey, and were refused service at the hotel restaurant due to not having a reservation. However, no one informed us about the need to reserve a table for hotel guests—neither during booking nor at check-in!
The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, with no nearby restaurants or shops. The staff were rude and unfriendly, and they didn’t even offer room service as an alternative. When we tried to order food to the room, no one answered the phone! I had to go up and down several times just to get some food for myself and my child.
Although we booked a triple room, there was no third set of towels or bedding. I couldn’t even put my child to bed. When I requested an extra set of bedding, it was never delivered—I had to go down to the reception myself to pick it up.
The service is at the lowest possible level! And this was not even during peak season, but on a weekday! Overall, apart from the nice view from the window, there is nothing good about this hotel. There are many better hotels in this region within the same price range.
The view from our room was just amazing, it's really quiet, the garden is nice, the breakfast is very good.
