Pros:

stayed before and use to be paid parking, now its free. got tesla superchargers in the car park. friendly staff and nice breakfast. The shower was like getting hosed down by a jetwash.

Cons:

facilities need updating, but bed was comfy so cant complain

Pros:

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean. Great base for our visit to Stadium of Light - reasonably priced Ubers too!

Cons:

No biscuits in the room - but totally understand due to the price we paid!

Wish I'd booked the Premier Inn up the road.
Pros:

The room itself was ok, although a little dated, and the staff were all very pleasant.

I only had breakfast on site once but it was perfectly acceptable (full English).

Cons:

There were no meals in the evening (although one staff member did say the evening staff would put a frozen pizza in the oven for me), which was far from ideal as I didn't have a car for the duration of my stay.

There were a number of noisy drunks in the front car park past midnight (less than ideal when you have to be up at 0400 for work!).
