I wouldn’t stay again.

It has a great view of the chaparrasique volcano

Cons:

We arrived at check in time and we were told our room wasn’t ready. So we waited for them to clean it and once in the room it didn’t look like they cleaned much. We went to the restaurant and ordered drinks and an appetizer but all of the silverware they gave me was dirty! I asked a couple of times for them to bring me another fork and it had black stuff in between. Most hotels in El Salvador provide you with included breakfast this place did not. Very disappointing stay.

Fantastic place to stay in.
Pros:

Castillo De Piedra is in a beautiful area surrounded by nature, with a view of the San Miguel volcano. The property has a restaurant with amazing/delicious food at reasonable prices.

Not what I expected
Pros:

Location and Staff

Cons:

Was not to organized one morning staff entered room without knocking and we were still in bed, also if we came back after 9pm we would have to wait for someone to open gate to let our car in.

Good price but not perfect vacation experience.

Beautiful pool

Cons:

Having to call every time to get in, have to leave your key if you want the room cleaned , also ants everywhere in the room and ants in the pool. The price would have been great if we could’ve enjoyed the pool but the pool was unusable because of the biting ants. I couldve paid less to rent a home without a pool.

Beautiful place !!
Pros:

Excellent location with lots of trees and plants, I like the tranquility in the morning and the views of the volcano!
Staff is very friendly and helpful, delicious hot chocolate and breakfast, definitely I’ll stay here again!

Cons:

Pool water need a little more cleaning and maintenance. Breakfast is not included with your reservation.

Cons:

The property was dirty old sheets with stains, there was no water at all , had to call manager to supposedly turn the pumps for water on never happened . Rooms had a bunch of ants and very dusty with spiders webs . Rented four rooms lo the rooms were very dirty.

Great effort to keep us confortable.

just please with the stay
Pros:

everything in general was amazing the staff and the owners were extremely helpful. they don’t serve breakfast but they went above and beyond to accommodate my family of 5 with our needs.

Cons:

we were pleased with everything from the views to just having a down time.
