Hotel Sea Land

I booked a room at Hotel Sea Land, Kanyakumari, for my parents, expecting them to have a comfortable and pleasant stay. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences they have ever had.

The hotel staff were extremely unprofessional, rude, and argumentative. Instead of patiently listening to my parents’ concerns and resolving their problems, the staff kept arguing and showed absolutely no interest in helping them. My parents have stayed at different hotels before, but they have never experienced such poor hospitality and disrespectful treatment.

I specifically booked a sea-view room, but my parents were given a room without a sea view. Despite not providing what was booked and paid for, the hotel refused to reduce the room price or offer any compensation.

The room itself was poorly maintained and lacked basic facilities. The fan regulator was not working, and there was a terrible, stinking smell inside the room, making their stay extremely uncomfortable.

What upset me the most was how my parents were treated. When guests raise genuine concerns, the least hotel staff can do is listen respectfully and try to find a solution. Instead, the staff chose to argue rather than help.

As someone who booked this hotel for my parents, I am extremely disappointed and upset. I trusted this hotel to provide them with a comfortable stay, but the experience was completely unacceptable.

I strongly recommend that families, especially those booking accommodation for their parents or elderly family members, think twice before choosing this hotel.

Terrible customer service, poor room maintenance, and absolutely no value for money. I would never book this hotel again or recommend it to anyone!

Staffs are cooperative only if they get tip.
Otherwise they will not care .

It’s a very poor property with a lack
Of even t basic senses… ant infestation, unclean towels, unhygienic bathrooms and even after requesting, there was no response… t first thing in t morning was to check out of this hotel

Pillows were not soft. I felt like keeping my head on a piece of rock. Beds were not up to the mark. Though the view from the room was excellent, this was marred by the salt spray on the other side of the glass, could not even take sunrise photos. All builtin plugs were loose, had to adjust with mu wife's handbag to make it work. Bathroom taps were leaking, and the whole place was filled with water. No bill was given, citing GST would be charged. They have no POS machines, and hence they did not accept credit cards. Payment had to be given in FULL even before occupying the room.
