Very enjoyable
Pros:

Rooms very roomy, stylish and functional. Good food and friendly staff. Worked well as pub/ restaurant. Location on edge of town centre worked well.

Lovely place to stay for a night or two
Pros:

Room stylishly decorated and everything had been thought of to make the stay comfortable. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was lovely- continental, but with extras.
Great location - an easy stroll into town.
Nice little beer garden at the back and some very good ales.

Cons:

The pub is on a busy road junction, but noise wasn’t too bad once you’re in the room.

A lovely place to stay with a great vibe and friendly staff

Cons:

The noise from the kitchen extractor fan (we stayed in the Galapagos room) was a little louder than we expected (but we did have window open as it was hot).

A charming and beautifully designed hotel with fantastic food and wonderful staff
Pros:

The decor was beautiful throughout and gave the hotel a really welcoming, stylish feel. The location was excellent for exploring Wells, the food in the pub was outstanding, and the staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Overall, the whole place had a lovely atmosphere and vibe that made it a very enjoyable stay.

Cons:

The main issue was that the bedroom window didn't open, which made the room feel very hot, especially during the warm weather, and it was difficult to sleep comfortably. There also didn't appear to be an extractor fan in the bathroom, which meant ventilation wasn't great and the bathroom didn't always smell particularly fresh.

Everything, the rooms are just fabulous, shower amazing, bedding and towels just feel expensive , this is my second time staying and I always get the best sleep

Just perfect!
Pros:

The Sheep & Penguin was exquisite. It is decorated to an extremely high standard and is beautifully looked after. The continental breakfast was excellent, with all locally sourced cheeses and meats. The staff were also unbelievably lovely and welcoming. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Definitely stay again. Food was also exceptional!
Pros:

Great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant and the food was exceptional. Breakfast was great with lots of variety. No fried breakfast which for me was a plus. Staff were great, friendly and were on hand and nothing was too much trouble.....not that we were demanding! Coffee was also excellent!

Cons:

The only downside was that there was no parking but as we were on motorcycles it didn't pose a problem for us as we could park virtually outside, and there is parking fairly close by if required. It was on a junction and main road but although we didn't have an issue our friends found it a little noisy late evening as they were at the front....it was a Saturday night though!

Sits on a road junction, but good sound insulation.

Pros:

Lovely rooms, well decorated and great bathroom.

Cons:

An improvement would be a manned reception. We arrived after the check-in time of 3pm to find the door locked as the pub didn't open till 4pm. There was a very pleasant person in the back yard who was able to let us in the back way and show us to our rooms.
