Had an amazing stay at Hangson Homestay, Munnar! The location is stunning and very relaxing. Aneesh, the owner, is incredibly kind and helpful. His warm hospitality made our stay truly memorable. A perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Munnar. Highly recommended! 🌄😊

Pleasant but disappointing for a homestay
Pros:

The room was very clean and had a nice view out across the valley - but not of the tea plantations. Anish was very polite and picked us up from the local bus stop with our bags. The bus stop is a 10min walk and then a 20min bus into Munar. There was filtered water for refilling your bottle. The best thing we did was hike up Chokramudi at sunrise, and the tea plantations in that area are also beautiful. This is a 45min tuk tuk ride away, but it has hotels nearby.

Cons:

Anish is very pleasant, but it didn't feel like a homestay, we were never offered even tea/coffee, we had to ask for everything, which made us feel like an inconvenience. Meals felt difficult to get and were never offered. The nearest breakfast option is a 20min uphill walk. No kettle or tea/coffee facilities. For information about the local area, he just told us to go to tourist information in Munnar. We chose to stay here because of the previous reviews of being well looked after and delicious food - but unfortunately it was not the experience we had.

Amazing
Pros:

The room was very clean and spacious. The scenery breathtaking. And the food was amazing.
Anish and his family are very caring and will make sure everything is ok.

If you want a peaceful stay outside city go for it. It is purely a Homestay! I really loved it

Definitely going to recommend to visit this place and stay
Pros:

Everything was perfect from the room to the owners, they are so sweet welcomed us like family.
The stay is away from Munnar City but it’s better to be away from hustle and bustle for quieter and serene stay.
