Modern, clean and comfortable hotel with good access to train station.
Pros:

I enjoyed a spacious, single room, generally comfortable, and quite clean. The elevators are prompt, smooth and quiet (my room was near them). The hotel is directly connected to JR Gifu Station by a smooth walkway at Second Floor level - no busy streets to cross, and so easy for wheeled luggage - plus the Dormy Inn building name is visible from the station 2F. The (men's) public bath is most enjoyable, and the spacious Common Room serves free noodles for supper. Staff very polite, helpful and not intrusive - it's possible to stay in your room all day if you want.

Cons:

Night-time was a little uncomfortable under the bed quilt in a warm room, but this is not unusual in Japan - was awkward more than a dislike! Again the following is for information, rather than dislike: no bath in the room, just a shower alcove; reception is on 6F, but can be bypassed going from your room to 2F walkway or street level; few eateries immediately nearby, but JR Gifu a short walk. Meitetsu Station is further away and some street level walking is required.

Pros:

玉宮地区の近くに泊まりたかったので、その意味では理想的な立地でした。温泉の水質もとてもよかった。
無料の「夜泣きそば」の提供は、おそらくは宿泊費にある程度含まれてはいるのでしょうけれど、他の宿泊施設ではまず見ることのできない非日常的なイベントといった感じで、とても楽しめました。

Très bon rapport qualité prix.
Pros:

Personnel réalisant un très bon service et qui n'hésite pas à vous venir en aide si vous le leur demandez.
La literie est bonne et propre. La couette tient bien chaud.
Le pyjama à disposition est de bonne qualité.
La laverie à disposition est bien. Le paiement de la laverie se fait par pièce de 100¥ uniquement mais le personnel à l'accueil peut vous échanger de la monnaie.
La laverie est au niveau du onsen de l'établissement, ce qui permet de profiter du bain pendant que les vêtements se lavent.
Le onsen est bien, avec un hammam et un bain froid à disposition (ce qui ne semble pas courant). Des glaces gratuites sont mises à disposition à la sortie du onsen, ce qui est un vrai plus.
Le ramen gratuit du soir est un bon moyen de manger lorsque vous ne savez pas où manger.
La température de la chambre peut être adaptée selon vos goûts.
Les chambres sont d'une taille japonaise (petites) mais après tout si ce n'est que pour y dormir, ce n'est pas un besoin essentiel.
Les éléments à disposition (thés, savons, sel de bain, etc.) sont bien.
Le wifi est rapide.
Le petit déjeuner est bien, répond à sa fonction sans prétention, dans un style japonais et un peu occidental.
L'arrêt de bus pour rejoindre le château de Gifu est juste à côté de l'hôtel.
La gare se situe non loin avec un accès par une plateforme surélevée directement accessible depuis l'hôtel, ce qui permet de rejoindre Inuyama et Nagoya rapidement (<1h).
Des Konbini se trouvent à quelques mètres également au besoin.
Je n'hésiterais pas à revenir.

Cons:

Dans le petit déjeuner, le distributeur de jus de fruits vous sert des jus à l'arôme artificiel, ce qui n'est pas nécessairement désagréable en goût mais ce ne sont donc pas des jus de fruits.
