Tolles kleines Zimmer mit einer Terasse, Sitzmöglichkeiten und einem super schönem Ausblick. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Familie ist total nett und hat uns bereits zu Beginn eine kleine Einführung zu den hauseigenen Teepflanzen gegeben. :)
Jeden Morgen gab es ein leckeres landestypischen Frühstück.

Schöner Ausblick und Räumlichkeit, man hat in der Unterkunft alles was man braucht. Die Familie ist super freundlich und kümmert sich sofort um alles. Wir konnten uns direkt vor Ort einen Roller über die Familie ausleihen, was sehr praktisch war. Das Frühstück war super und mit im Preis einbegriffen. Der Vater der Besitzerin hat uns angeboten mit uns wandern zu gehen, das war wirklich eine fantastische Erfahrung! Kann ich nur empfehlen. Alles in allem eine tolle Zeit :)

I had a truly lovely stay and felt right at home — it was everything I hoped for and more! I spent the Sri Lankan New Year with the whole family, and it was such an inspiring and authentic experience. I joined the family on a visit to their temple and also had the chance to see their beautiful farm, which even has a waterfall.

The accommodation is conveniently located for reaching Ella Rock, making it easy to start hiking early in the morning without needing transportation.

The homemade meals were delicious! The room is detached from the main house, offering privacy, and has a beautiful view. Spending time on the balcony was incredibly peaceful. Upon request, friends of the family offer excellent and affordable laundry services.

Staying here was one of the highlights of my three-month trip to Sri Lanka, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic experience!

Sky mount ella is one lodge hosted by a local family. The view from the place is stunning, the bed is firm and big, the breakfast is every morning amazing and the family is extremely kind, helpful and definitely want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Since you’re a bit outside of Ella keep in mind that you need to either travel by tuktuk which costs around 1000/1500 rps, or you can choose to rent the scooter from the family which is really nice. But in all honesty the view and the peaceful place is worth a little trip up and down the mountain since ella city is very vibrant and busy. If you’d like to do a sunrise hike to Ella Rock they also have a guide in the family! If you don’t feel like going into Ella town for food then you can enjoy a lovely cooked meal by the family.

Only thing to keep in mind is that the pressure of the water is a little less strong but it’s warm and it’s a shower! So we’re not complaining 🙏🏻.

We loved to experience the lovely lodge with a touch of local sri lanka family and would definitely come back. Thanks again beautiful family, we had an amazing time.

Amazing calm and quiet place in the middle of nature that keeps you out of noisy Ella city. Clean and new apartment with delicious and huge breakfast from housekeeper's nice family. 100% recommended 👌

+ We had a fantastic stay at Ella Rain Forest Mount Lodge where the owner picked us up from and dropped us off at our Beragala cottage. He also took care of all our transportation needs to Ella town and other attractions, which was very convenient. This allowed us to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the cottage and the lively vibe of the town whenever we wanted. We just contacted him whenever we needed a ride. We also hiked Ella Rock, which was easily accessible from the hotel as it was located near the trail head. The owner very nice and also super friendly guide if you're need guide for hiking Ella rock we recommended him.The room and the service were excellent and we couldn’t ask for more.
