Fabulous boutique hotel on the city palace road!
Pros:

Loved pretty much everything about this hotel. It's a stylish, comfortable boutique hotel with a great rooftop restaurant and view of the city Palace. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with all mod cons. Breakfast has a small but good quality range. We also ate dinner there and it was reallly good, as was enjoying cocktails on the roof after a busy day of sightseeing and shopping. Perfect!

Very beautifully designed stay. Difficult to locate it and no working number, so please ask for one before booking. Uphi

Starting off with the positives, the hotel owner was present when we arrived and was a lovely man who was very helpful. The Haveli in itself is so beautifully decorated and designed every step of the way, it is such a delight to experience it

Cons:

The location was extremely difficult to find. We had to roam atleast 20minutes and ask multiple people to find the location and even then, had to guess and find it. Google maps does not do a good job plus the signboards located all along are simply wrong and point to the wrong direction. The worst part is that there is no working number to call and ask the property for directions. Upon arriving which was 2 hours after the check in time, we had to wait at least for an 45mins - one hour as we were told there was a check in error, which i can understand happens, however there was no compensation or gestures such as upgrades offered to compensate for this. It could be done as the entire haveli was empty.On entering the rooms, one of the rooms was extremely unhygienic with a broken toilet and dust all across the bathroom which left an unpleasant experience.

Pros:

The whole vibe was so welcoming and positive. Loved the breakfast options, and the location is the cherry on top. Overall, one of my best stay experiences with such great hospitality, cleanliness, food, and so much more. Would recommend 10/10.

An elegant hotel
Pros:

On our first morning, we enjoyed the lovely atmosphere of a traditional flute being played. It added so much charm to the hotel's appearance, which is already very intimate and peaceful. There is a constant effort to play on the theme of 'manuscript' & 'writing'.
Our room presented very nicely, with decor, great light, and a lovely bathroom.
The dining room provided breakfasts that were quite nice. For dinner, it elevates to a more sophisticated rooftop space, and the menu has something for everyone.

Cons:

The breakfast choices could be a bit broader, with food refreshed a little more quickly when busy.
The address has limited access by car, so Tuktuks are needed at busy times.

Pros:

What a haven of serenity amidst the madness of the Old City. We lived everything about Manuscript and the food was among the best we had in the area.

Loved the creativity in the menu. The rooms were very comfortable. And the staff was amazing!

Definitely a great spot to retreat to when in Udaipur old city.

Clean, secluded and very good location.

Cons:

Finishings of room was incomplete exposed concrete, lack of sunlight and room given to us was not one of the rooms within the lovely courtyard

An oasis of calm in Udaipur
Pros:

Wonderful hotel. The place is stunning. Rooms are beautifully designed and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Breakfast is really good. We also had dinner there and the food is a cut above in a beautiful rooftop looking at the palace.

The same staff were working here when I stayed at the hotel a year after my first stay. It was lovely to see them again!
Breakfast is always delicious. There are ample places to enjoy a quiet spot with gorgeous city views from their rooftop or inner courtyard. The beds are large and comfy. And it's super walkable to the sites and shops near the lake.

Lovely for a couple nights in udaipur if sightseeing is your main objective - and the views of the fort from the roof ar

Location was perfect for sightseeing, room was comfortable and food was tasty with an amazing view.

Cons:

Some of the facilities were slightly lacking - eg small pool with few deck chairs and could have had more comfortable reading chairs.
