The case hotel is conveniently situated for where we were traveling. It’s older and quirky making it more interesting.
Some of the staircases are quite steep and the hand rails are rough

Car par wasn't lit and I couldn't see exit so was bit confusing.

The food was good. Rooms were of a good size. Staff couldn't be more helpful.
Rucked carpets in the bedrooms are a tripping hazard. Bedrooms were accessed via a 'staff only' door which was confusing. Steps into said door were dangerous as they were not visible - some white tape along the edges of the steps would be a good idea.

It was easy to find and to park the car. The welcome was good and efficient. The property was very quirky and a pleasure to stay in.
The potholes in the driveway and the hard bed

This could be a really nice, successful hotel. It has a lovely layout and staff. The bathroom was very clean.
Being Honest, if the chipped paintwork on the architraves and skirtings was redone it would go a long way to improving the ambience and initial impressions and promote return business.
